My combo to push them into the corner which I’ve told you guys lots is ex tatsu, lp shouoken, hp shouoken. I haven’t really tested j.tatsu, might have better range. But yeah depending on who you’re fighting I love going for the corner pressure. Sim is one who needs to be put in the corner definitely.
Putting Sim and Guile in the corner is #1 priority for those matches imo.
Guile moreso than Sim.
I’d add Blanka to that list too, since he can be a tad annoying for sakura mid-screen. Once he’s cornered, it’s good night.
How many frames does it take for U1 to come out? I know U2 is 3 frames.
For which character?
If you are talking about Sakura, the frame data is
U1: 11 Frames
U2 (Punch): 12 Frames
U2 (Kick): 8 Frames
If you are talking about Blanka, it is:
U1: 4 Frames
U2 (Kick Version): 12 Frames
U2 (Punch Version): 7 Frames
Thanks, 8 frames? I thought I saw Skatan mention U2 was 3 frames somewhere (after the flash)
3f U2 would be too gdlk.
I have never said that u2 is 3f
I’m feeling so disencouraged recently, I keep reading up on all this stuff on Sakura but yet I keep doing the same playstyle I do. It’s difficult to change my playstyle.
Mostly with hit-confirm combos, trying to start using them but my execution online is just terrible especially with cr.hp xx light tatsu > st.lk xx HP Sho, that always blocks so I don’t do it anymore. I can do it in training mode just fine.
I’m adjusting to a stick now, it’s a TE-S stick and I’m finding it difficult to adjust, is there any good method to adjust, like do trials or just go to training mode and do combos over and over or head straight online?
I play on PS3 controller.
/rant Many people told me to drop Sakura but I’m keeping on her, I want to make it work with her but just recently I’m getting urges to drop her
Very familiar story to everyone here, I beleive!
Yeah it is pretty much. Just invest at least 15 minutes in training mode everyday with Sakura and you’ll see a huge improvement.
I’ve been playing on a stick for almost 5 years, and I still go to training mode to practice combos.
So yeah, training mode is good no matter if you’re adjusting to using a stick or not, Sakura is a pretty heavy execution character if you’re planning on squeezing out the most of what she’s capable of, so you need to commit that time in training mode to be able to use her properly.
Yeah I will keep up the stick.
I don’t know if it’s because my jump-ins works a lot on people that are unfamiler how to fight Sakura so it sticks to me and when it comes to high-level people, I won’t know what to do.
I think I should be avoiding ranked
yeah…veer away from ranked…that mode is balls, hardly any players worth the time and effort and when that time does arrive…BAM! so adjusted to garbage players that you get smacked on lol…endless all day for me but i do like points haha
hit me up to spar. “aquatics” is my PSN
sakabato…accept my friend request you sexy beast…ive been crying over the fact its still greyed out:sad:
Hey guys, is there any situation where comboing into sweep is more favorable than comboing into Shouo? I don’t see any players do it, yet according to the frame data, it’s possible.
Then it must have been someone else. My bad.
I can’t find frame data on hitstun dealt by sakura’s attacks. Is there any info on it?
All frame data is on the srk wiki
Just wondering, but is there any counters to E.Honda players that tend to spam his butt slams / command throws on during my wakeup? Or is it pretty much a guessing game?
EDIT: Oh I forgot to say that I know cr.hp can beat it, but if he does it meaty it does not come out in time and I can’t really air to air him either.
Focus dash > punish works against buttsmash
