Yeah but then it’d be too similar to Akuma and Gouken’s Demon Dive and we don’t really want Sakura copying other people’s flavours. If she could drop out of it quickly and have zero recovery on landing then there’d be at least some “mix-up” to it, it’d be a bit like Akuma using palm to land without recovery.
Block it or avoid it There’s no beating that, best you could do is trade and that’s not a trade you want.
As Radar said it depends on when you land the attack and it is possible to link j.HK or j.HP into Ultra although there isn’t really any reason why you’d want to do that.
Ultra has 11 frames of startup, if the 4 frames of recovery is correct and it’s not an overly tight link so can assume there’s around 16-18 hit stun on heavy jumping attacks.
ex.Head Stomp is a shitty move if you’re on the ground, you can literally walk back or forward and it will whiff completely. So your problem is jumping -_-; It’s great for anti-air but like I said, if you stay on the ground it will whiff completely. Safe jump that shit.
^j.Roundhouse -> Ultra works if you hit deep enough, other than that, like the guy before me said, the frame data is too wide to document because it depends on where and when you hit them that determines how much +frames you’re at.
so tell me what u guess think about this. u know how people have a hard time hit confirming cr. forward to hp shou. well what if u ghost the hp shou. what i mean is when u cr. forward tap hit the hp button like u would for a p link and hold it do the dp motion and if u see the cr forward connect let go of the hp button and shou comes out.

Tip on how to hit confirm the c.Forward -> Shoryu: Go for counter pokes :tup: Aim to poke recovering frames and you should be good to go. My Sakura is pretty lazy atm and I don’t even try to hit confirm as much as I used to =\ When I’m in the zone then sure, but otherwise it’s very stressful -_-;
i know its the same as hit confirming but its easier just to let go of a button or at least for me and yeah thats pretty much what i do now is go for the counter poke

Thing is that even if I did that, it seemed to always whiff. i was just doing it off timing, trying to hit her too high. So yeah, i guess I was doing it wrong.
yeah unless the reversal dp or teleport. but otherwise u should be good. they only trouble ive had is wiffing the combo on certain characters, like blanka and akuma, before i get to the comb.
hi guys and girls, thanks to this forum i’ve got the timing down on the following combo:
j.hp, cr.mp, lk.shunpu, cr.hp, ex.shunpu, otoshi
i’m pretty proud i can do that actually…considering i am useless on this game whenever i pick anyone other than guile lol.
i play on a dpad and i am having trouble with the dash into ultra ater a ex shunpu. i can hit it like 10% of the time. is there a visual clue or a certain way i can execute this so it hits more often? seems like a lot of sakura players i fight online have this down to an art.
