a work in progress. I am noob at this, any suggestions? I might see if I can find a higher res version of that pic. and make the black outline less jaggy if I can, its just some photoshop effect I stumbled across.

on the 17"x10" surface on my WIP acrylic stick, I’m thinking about having Sakura in the bottom right corner doing an epic Shinkuu vs. a Barrage of Ibuki daggers who will be placed in the top left corner… imagine it in a Dragon Ball Z fireball war context… and it’s going to be in this style: Click

If only MadCatz would produce a Sakura Fightpad then I’d be all set.
There’s a thread buried somewhere in tech talk for modding the MadCatz pads. Even has a template you can print on a sticker and a tutorial of all the fun bits.
wow are you forrealll… it’s just any regular fightpad with a different graphic… Stick graphics look better than controller graphics anyway…

My white Sanwa stick and buttons (with 2 Dark Hai) just arrived, does it go well together with my design?
My SE fighstick; electronics from an old mad catz ps1 controller (I use ps to usb adapter and why there is no home button/turbo etc).
Could be better… graphic design imo is becoming a meaningless shithole of random graphics of no reason…
Do what you like though, I personally don’t like cut and paste… It’s not unique enough as many people can do it too.

Yeah I’m pretty harsh when it comes to criticizing…my bad on that part, I really shouldn’t be when it comes to stick art, because no one gives a shit about deep reasoning anyway.
I wouldn’t say “better”, I’d say it’s more “special” if you used something you made or drew, because you know it’s something you made entirely yourself knowing that it is the only one in the world…and being the only one who possesses a “one-of-a-kind” item feels pretty special if you ask me. Although it’s not up to me to decide if you do choose to draw up something of your own, I’m sharing my personal thoughts on the applicable uses of one’s own artwork. For instance, someone comes visit you and notices your beautiful stick art. “Hey that’s a nice picture!” you now have the right to say " thanks I drew it myself!" “really?! that’s awesome!”
Sometimes I don’t draw stuff from scratch…during these times I trace existing images, but with a completely different art style… if you’ve visited my fan art thread, I posted a picture of a porsche vector. All it is is a trace of an existing picture, but illustrated using only black and white. I still feel guilt for copying the work, but I’m not letting myself become proud of that because I know I didn’t the photo. If you can’t draw from scratch, this is an alternative method to making something that’s “partially” original…
I assume you know how to use PS given that you know how to create that white smoke and use preset brushes. Now, do you know how to use the Pen tool, and know of what it can do for you?
If you do, and you don’t know how or want to draw, you could always trace that picture of sakura and color it in a different style or something. You can try illustrating it Marvel-Ink style, or you could illustrate it with 3 or 4 colors only, or do something else. The choice is yours 
I still have those sketches in my head, but after giving feedback to that mecha drawing this one person kept asking for, a Mecha Sakura sounds kinda fun, and new!
Well, after AOS’s ^^^ cool custom designs and whatnot, the two custom sticks I’m getting done (designed by a friend) seem a bit plain. Still:
curious, why isn’t the kanji in white? and what designs are you talking about? I haven’t developed them yet. i’ve only drawn a Terminator-Ibuki so far, and I’m dropping both her and sakura out of the stick art. I just don’t see myself having a blast using stick on SF, plus I think my buttons are dropping inputs, must be old solder. The stick art is going to feature Dante and Trish, since I’m likely to use it for mvc and dante and trish look hot/badass together.
Oh, I though I saw some nice hand drawn art by you in one of the threads somewhere.
