I also do stick art. If you want to me work with on something I am more than willing to help. Here is my template I did. I’ve done about 4 other templates for people, most of them have pleased with my work. Hit me up with you want me to work on something or just general advice :3
I messed up my stick. After I put the screws back in the lami-label wouldn’t stick down on the left side so I added some glue. Too much glue it seems. Now its just ugly.
Also I think maybe I should have got a blue ball top and reversed the colours of the buttons. Maybe white outside, blue inside would have been better.
Those are Seimistu PS-14 KNs (Clears)
I got the art cut and printed by Art from tek-innovations.com
Putting art in the buttons is easy to do. Just a head-up though. If you want the art within the button to say put, then get a hot glue gun and glue them to the button. But if don’t want to sacrifice you buttons to just one piece of art, either do double-sided tape or don’t put any adhesive at all when putting in the art.
I see, I got mine cut through tek innovations also. I kept my circles in case I wanted to do something like that. I’m OK with sacrificing buttons. Just wasn’t sure what buttons to use. Do they have clean sanwa’s ? Those are all I have used and I hear other buttons are different. And I don’t know where to get buttons from haha. Or where to get a glue gun for that matter.
There are really rare Sanwas that also are clear, but they sell like $15 per button, and if you need 6-8 of them, that’s a huge hole in your pocket just for buttons. Trust me go with the Seimistus, cheaper, and they work almost the same as Sanwa’s OBSF-30s but they are Screw-ons instead of Snap-ons like the OBSFs.
To buy PS-14-KNs, or anything fight stick related, lizardlick.com is your best option. They sell for I think $3 a pop.
gamingnow.net is closing down pretty soon since Nareg is closing shop to go to Law School, but a lot of stuff are there for discount. Check if he has any PS-14-KNs in stock before they sell out. He won’t restock them if they sell out. He’s also based in CA, so shipping should only take 2-5 days.
As for a glue gun, go to a hobby shop like Micheal’s or a hardware store like Lowe’s, Home Depot, or Osh’s.
