You know, there really isn’t that much art out there for poor Sakura compared to the tent pole namesakes like Chun Li. I noticed this when I elected to dress up my daughter as Sakura for this year and went image searching. As a result, I doodled this one up while sitting and waiting for the kid to get out of dance class…

Here’s something else the wife and I cooked up, (Not really art per say, but I’m not really sure it deserves it’s own thread.) My daughter suffers my Street Fighter addiction. Last year she was Chun Li, this year, we went with Sakura.

The shoes and wig we found in China, the red turtleneck was purchased from the store, and the rest was commissioned for someone to make, which we then tweaked just a little bit. Then I marched her around the city and took pictures of her for a couple hours.
Not sure who we should dress her up as next year, as the choices of what I’d be comfortable putting on a 4 year old drop fast. (And Matoko is perhaps a little bland visually.)
I got an idea for an art stick
I’m gonna have Karin on the left with her name just beside her and have Sakura on the right with her name beside her, they’re both the character portraits from Alpha 3.
I’m gonna have half of the stick for Karin’s stage and the other half of the stick for Sakura’s stage. Gonna have the 1st 4 buttons on the left red for Karin and the next 4 buttons blue/violet for Sakura.
And some nice colourful effects (will have to decide on what effects to use for it). And I’m gonna plant my name on the bottom left or right corner.
