Yeah, looking for that c.MK xx Gadouken to cancel into the Legendary Taunt and then into Shissou Buraiken, I’d do it more often but I use too much meter on EX Dankuu 
Then when you finally get the opportunity it fucks up somehow, Gadouken doesn’t come out and negative edge makes you do Hisshou Buraiken instead >.<
If you have 3 bars and your quick enough…I think you can do cr.mk ex gadouken fadc> ultra…
Ive done it in training…just not fast or good enough to land it live…
Yeah it is tricky, I’d either save up for Legendary Taunt or do an easy c.MK xx Gadouken xx FADC > HP Kouryuken.
I’ve been practicing s.MP xx HK Dankuu after Gadouken FADC but botching it up and doing c.MP a fair bit sucks The s.MP is range dependant as well where the HP Kouryuken will land as long as the Gadouken does.
Yes cr. mk to EX Gadouken FADC ultra is tough to apply in battle, only seems punishing is only option unless you’re really good at hit confirming. That said I landed it against a Vega player in one of my videos.

A match vs. a Ryu I recorded yesterday. It was the first one after I came back from work yesterday, so I played pretty badly. Afterwards my camera was empty so I couldn’t record my better matches 
Had some good ones in there, finished (and won!) two of them with a Legendary Taunt, too

Looks like you are abusing the wake-up Focus attack a bit. It works on some characters but not really on Ryu unless the player is more of a chronic SRK type (do it JUUUST out of range to bait them) instead of the projectile happy variety.
Also don’t hoard the super meter so much, EX Danku and Gado are where Dan shines.

Match from recent tournement, after my 1st round i lost my cool and didn’t think to counter turtle =/.
My 2nd match against a sagat went much better, but i still lost and it didn’t get recorded.
Dan rep… is too epic. Warms my heart to see it. Tourney pressure makes Street Fighter a whole different game, so major kudos.
And the nerve of those plebes not knowing anything about the Dan matchup. Shame on them.

You did well, but there a few things I’d pick on:

[]You should have been looking for ultra through fireball. Buffer it at random times when you jump and in footsies. If Akuma air fireballs, ultra that asshole.
[]You jump in too much. Akuma could have killed you just by anti-airing you with ultra and dp.
[]You need to have a way to punish his backwards teleports. One way (this is conjecture) is to jump over him on his wakeup, and then ultra. Or jump over and do aerial hk Danku. When he is in the corner, he wants to teleport away. Walk towards him and then backdash. If he teleports, you get your ultra (that is not conjecture, I know it works).
[]You need to learn how to deal with Akuma’s air fireballs. In addition to the threat of ultra or EX Koryu through the air fireball, you need to dash towards Akuma when he’s in the air. If he throws a fireball, you can sweep to simultaneously avoid the fireball and get a knockdown. HK Danku or cr.mk xx koryuken can probably do the same for more damage. Don’t jump over the fireballs all the time, that puts you in a dangerous situation and you’ll fly into the fireball sometimes.
[*]Don’t always do lk Danku on your jump-ins. A blocked jump-in gains no momentum off of a lk Danku because the recovery is a decent amount. In fact, air mk and hk danku are pretty unsafe on block. Off of a jump-in, you should either be looking to set up a throw or a frame trap shenanigan. On that note, close s.mp xx lk Danku. Learn it, love it, do it off of jump-ins and crossups.
