Sagat is very strong in this game, however i dont think he is as far ahead as a lot of members think. in CvS2 he was probably stronger. lower his health to 1050 or 1000 then he would be cool. or lower his damage by like 10. i like fighting sagats though.
Dude don’t worry, give it just one more month or two. Like iv said in other posts people absolutely need someone to complain about. If Gen was top tier people would cry and cry and beg Capcom to retool him. They just need excuses on why the char. they suck with cant beat the char your good with. :nunchuck:
All this talk about tier lists, and even this insanity of comparing matches you have with those of Mago and Daigo is absolutely rediculous. You all see one video of Mago vs Daigo…did any of you bother to look at what really matters. No not BP not GP or CP or any of that bullsh*t. Daigos Win % is around 85%, so what does that mean? HE LOSES SOME TIMES, if had a 98% win rate and the only person he loses to is Sagat than maybe this argument would have a base.

this is how i feel,state your opinion on how you feel about sagat and respect how others post. the post asked if people thought sagot was overpowerd or overated? not do you feel that the sagot fourms are dying or whatever kids that tiger palm sagats nuts say.:lol:

Hey guys, this thread and others like it inspired this satirical (& plagiarized) blog entry I posted up. I figured everybody could get a quick giggle out of it. Don’t take Sagats S-Tier ways so seriously =0). Take care:

ryu has the most comeback potential of any character.
I personally think ryu with ultra and super is more powerful than sagat with ultra and super, cause sagat doesnt use his super in this game. but ryu
now ex fireballs are dangerous, now low forwards into ex fireballs are dangerous, now crossup tatsus are dangerous, now crossup normals are even more dangerous now throwing a projectile is dangerous, now getting DP’d is dangerous.
yea ryu with super is more top tier than sagat, but sagat is better than anybody else when nobody has meter

Don’t be mean, some of us lurk before posting. Been maining sagat basically since I started and this is my first post in the forum… cause I don’t wanna make an ass of myself before I know what the heck I’m talking about.
Speaking of which… why has this thread been bumped?
I think Sagat’s tiger uppercut should do more damage. His tiger knee could also use more priority than what it has. I also think his defence and health should be higher. Moreover his ex tiger shot should be his normal one and the ex version should do more damage and shouldnt allow you to quickstand. Plus his focus attack should have a wider hitbox and it should stun as quick as cammy’s or fei long’s. 
and dan should have a raging demon
Dan’s ultra is even better than a raging demon.

Sagat is fine. I hate when people complain about characters. His style is very direct. Easy to navigate for most veteran players. Yes he is a strong character when it comes to damage and stamina. He is far from god status
