it’s a 1000. the same as ryu, gule, vega, etc. which kind of make me wonder if the other character with 1100 stamina (balrog, abel and honda) are the same or have been nerfed as well.
I don’t know if this was discussed before, but do you guys think it’s possible to do TU > FADC > (forward) roundhouse > Tiger Cannon? I’m saying no, but I hope I’m wrong. The reason why I say no is because the Tiger Cannon looks like it has a high hitbox, while the Tiger Destruction had a low hitbox which made that combo work in many different situations. The only way I see doing a (forward) roundhouse > Tiger Cannon would work is as a anti-air or a high counter hit TU > FADC backdash > (forward) roundhouse > Tiger Cannon. What do you guys think?

I’m coming to grips with it (even though I’m not a Sagat player), but I still feel bad for the players that use him. Sagat vs Ryu…Sagat better not get cornered or he’s…well…fucked.
So you just follow your character because hes overpowered? I guess the assumption people make toward most sagat players is legit then…
yeah, don’t feel sorry for Sagat. in the end, i think all these changes really mean is that it’s going to be a lot tighter at the top.

I’ve talked to Dave on another forum. He even said himself Sagat was in need of nerfs…he feels it was taken too far, and quite frankly I don’t blame him. I think any Sagat player here can deal with stamina and damage nerfs…it’s the loss of s.LK as a great poke for footsies that’s too far.
So far, there isn’t much of a reason to like this new Sagat over the old Sagat, unless they gave him something more that we don’t know. All Sagat has now is the best motion-input fireballs in the game and DP xx FADC, Ultra. That’s about it.
And Kara everything.
And the best single offensive non DP move in the game (tiger knee).
As a Guile user…oh yes, I concur. But I didn’t feel it was right to nerf characters in a sense, because yes…the characters aren’t as fun and don’t quite play the same anymore (Fun reffering to easy). If a character is good as they are, leaving them alone and help the lower characters and everyone gets there way.
But in Super…Capcom has taken the approach by nerfing little odds and ends to good characters, and only slightly increasing the lower tiers, for balance. It takes longer and painstaking testing to buff everyone else to higher levels though, so I do see Capcom’s reason behind it.
It does really seem arbitrary though…they buffed the hell out of rose, but apparently nerfed cammy and gen, two characters who abso-fucking-lutely did NOT need any nerfs.
And they added insult to injury with Guile by apparently not buffing him at all, and spending time giving him a new taunt?
I’m pretty confused at this point and I’m hoping that there are tons of changes that we DON’T know about now, that somehow make the nerfs seem more reasonable.
Maybe with the new engine and whatever else they gave him, gen would have been nuts if they left him the way he was? Makes sense that with a faster engine, a low jump arc like gens into mkxxhands would rape alot of the cast who have just seen their reversals nerfed. Cammy got her reversal damage nerfed and im not sure what else
If mr wizard doesnt know whether or not vipers thunder knuckle has been nerfed, he’s not going to notice if Guiles normals startup a frame faster or recover that way, especially since he clearly doesn’t use guile and that’s most of what guile players asked for
I’m really optimistic, and i main Guile. I see the nerfs to some peoples reversals as making it like Guiles flashkick where you have to actually time it for it to be effective
What i don’t understand is why they would take that route with some characters and then buff the hell out of chun-li who was already good? Man i wish they could just give us the data

The upside to this is that, finally, this match is going to be a lot more reasonable for characters like Chun who have mediocre damage output and 900 health for NO REASON.
Geif is down to 1100 too.
No word on Rufus though…I guess its fair to assume he is keeping his monster health bar.
Rufus with MORE health than Zangief? I really hope not.
If they dropped Gief to 1100 and did NOT change Rufus, then he would have more in Super.
Rufus was 1150 in SF4, Gief was 1200.

Great rush down, great mixups, isntant dive kick, 4 normals into ultra, all special moves into ultra in the corner, AND the biggest HP(1150) in the game?Why did they lover zangief’s life again and why don’t female chars have nromal life?
