According to Keno, angry scar provides invulnerability to all his specials. That sounds to me like he’s going to have the highest priority stuff in the game. If what Keno says is accurate, I’m thinking it might provide additional invul frames to TU and make Tiger Knee truly unbeatable. That’s more than going to make up for health loss.

Obviously we don’t quite know the specifics, but it’s already sounding like an extremely good use of EX meter.

Evasion+additional invul+additional damage for one stock sounds great to me.

rofl that’ll be full broken if it was the latter, most likely it’ll just be for his next move, if it was for a time period that’ll be nearly equivalent to makoto’s super but for less EX stock, that’ll be full retarded. Stacking invincibility also sounds broken.

Yeah I’m not surprised either at this point. Capcom keeping his play style the same means making sure he can still FADC Ultra. Anything else is free game I guess. I’ve heard a rumor though that they’re toning down the anti air properties of lariat as well so I guess they if they’re going to do that to Gief then something was gonna get pulled from Sagat too. I guess whatever new they have they think will balance the loss. There were certain SF games where his s.LK wasn’t cancellable any ways.

Don’t know about the scar move, you’re basically using a stock to pretty much make your next move have the same kind of properties as the EX version of the move but shitter, that to me sounds kinda dumb, you may as well just DO the EX version of the move. I mean whats the point of wasting a stock on the scar then throwing a TU? Just to give it a bit more invincible frames and damage? You might as well do just do an EX TU, you get more invincibility frames and damage anyway when you do the EX version.

Don’t know about the scar move, you’re basically using a stock to pretty much make your next move have the same kind of properties as the EX version of the move but shitter, that to me sounds kinda dumb, you may as well just DO the EX version of the move. The screen freeze gives you more time to react and punish. If you’re not sure what’s coming and don’t want to do a risky move or waste 2EX on a blocked TU FADC, do the scar move and it will give you 1/3secs to see what your opponent did and react accordingly.
If you have 4 stock then you can use this move, then keep building meter. Your charged TU will be stored (assuming it’s like his A3 scar move) effectively acting as a buffered stock. So now you can have full meter and a free EX-property TU.
EX TU is multi-hitting so you’ll only get a bit of the damage on first hit. Scar move will give you all the damage at once. With that in mind…

Too focused on hating Sagat which is funny since his char is one of the few that doesn’t need to worry about him. Even more funny that The Mullah is being level headed when that match with Blanka is balls off the walls garbage for Blanka.

as a sagat player, i think the s.lk cancel removal was unnecessary tbh.I am fine with his health nerf, dmg nerf, hell get rid of the trade TU into Ultra, but to change his style of play like this is quite a kick in the nuts.

I am just hoping this angry scar move gives him the tools to deal with upclose pressure

Hehe, well…Sagat has a few moves that can help him out of s.lk gets nerfed, so hopefully it won’t kill his up close game TOO much.
