there is a funny stuff I stumbled upon in training mode, if you are in close and hit a crane cLK cMP cancel into HP roll, the roll will hit dan as a crossup on the other side, in AE roll cannot fadc into sMP but in AE 2012 it does, so when you stun your opponent its a viable reset in my opinion, but since I dont have AE v2012 I cant confirm if this actually works
It should work in 2012 because hitbox of the roll likely didn’t change. It hits lots of characters as a cross-up, but you cannot follow it up with st.MP after FADC because the 2nd last hit doesn’t have hitbox to cross someone up.
huh? but it did hit as a crossup just that when I fadc to sMP it doesnt combo.
2nd hit and 3rd hit can cross up, but they do not have buffed blockstun&hitstun. Only 4th hit has buffs, and that one cannot cross up.
