Family Billiards keeps changing out their fighters! MVC> XMvSF> Tekken Tag> GG Iskua now. If they had an MVC2 that was in nice shape (and people knew about it) they’d probably make enough to hold on to it longer than 3 months.
CvS2 on a horrible cabinet that is so small you bump elbows with your opponent and King of Fighters NeoWave with some back-asswords ass buttons.
Hey guys I’m a CSUS student too and I play SF at the arcade from time to time late after noon (somtimes around 2 or 4:30 or so).
CSUS has a pretty good line-up of games, but I was disapointed that they got rid of their 3S machine. But at least I found out from this thread that ARC has it now, along with a pretty nice line-up. I need to go check out that arcade sometime.
What days do they pros hang out at ARC? I’ve never even been there =P
Yes the CVS2 cab at CSUS sucks, and so the does MVC2 cab.
And yeah I’ve been playing the NeoWave the past few days at CSUS, what the hell is up with the button placement? I’m still not used to it and I dont think I ever will be. Its a retarded button scheme. 
What Else Did Csus Get In Regards To Games? I’m Too Lazy To Stroll In After Class…

ARC has pros? LoL. The best gamers at arc are the people who use to go to The GameRoom back a couple years ago… Kevin, Doug, Ross, Myself, and thats about it. Kevin is about as pro as arc gets. Doug doesn’t go in the ARCade too much. Ross is mainly a 3S player, but he’s in there around 930 to around 11 something, I’m in there about the same time and around 1230 til 130, I have to wait for ross to get out of his last class (Car Pooling is good for the environment). But I am a MvC1&2 player with a little bit of 3S in me, but I am learning GGXX starting last thursday.
Speaking of GGXX where might I go to play some peeps? I know davis has it, but thats a little far to be going for ggxx. Anyone know where my GR peeps that play GGXX are?

wow! first time in months i’ve check the sac thread & it has more then one post since the previous week. :wow:
anywho, yea as DFR said, the ARCade gets the most play in the morning to mid after noon(3ish). of course all the machines are community college quality. 
Damn, wheres the best place to play 3S around here? The only places that have 3S machine is the sac area are ARC and Davis?

the ps2 has a good port of 3s on it…there’sa few of us that play it still here in Sac and Davis will begin to have their tournies in abotu 2 and a half weeks and they too have 3s…

I have SFA, and I play ps2 3S all the time, but I still like to go to the arcade to get some real street fighter play.

no shit the 3rd strike joystick “clicks” everytime you press forward making consecutive parries extremely hard. of course 2nd impact is on a perfect cabinet, but is 50cents while 3rd strike is 25cents WTF?? charge 50 cents and put 3rd strike in the good cabinet for all i care.
