This thread has caused a disturbance in the morphing grid… I had to d/l the two most reason seasons of PR to restore the balance. As such, I will break it down for you niggas:

God Tier:

MMPR - The original and best. Nostalgia beats all, I’m afraid.

PR In Space - Solely because it ended the “original” story arc which spans 5 or 6 seasons. The cameos from the all the “sixth” rangers near the end was awesome as fuck.

Time Force - Honourable mention for the fact that it had a ongoing plot that didn’t revolve around beating the series villains, but actually had repercussions for the rangers. Also deserves props for having “recognised” actors in lead roles (quantum ranger and Ransik the main villain.)

Top Tier:

SPD - This show emulated much of what was good in Time Force plotwise, and also had seriously awesome zords. The twist of A squad going rogue was great to see unfold and anticipate.

Ninja Storm - Only places highly in that it was the first PR season to focus squarely on rival martial art schools battling. It seemed only proper to have the rangers’ alter ego’s to be students of ancient combat styles. Also the evil-becoming-good rangers plot was really well-handled in this particular season.

Dino Thunder - Return of Tommy, and recaps all previous Pr seasons, definitely pays homage to it’s ancestors.

Wild Force - Sure it’s goofy as fuck, but it captured the essence of MMPR perfectly; 5 young, naive, and slightly dumb teenagers given incredible powers and machinery to help protect the world. How much more quintessentially power-rangerish can you get? Also, arguably one of the best “sixth” rangers sub-plot - The Lunar Wolf Ranger.

Mid Tier:

Mystic Force - Good enough season, but it seemed spoiled by the over-abundance of rangers. It seemed like they had so many allies, the villains were out-numbered. This is the other way round form what it should be. The rangers should overcome huge numbers and incredibly powerful enemies, not bore them into submission with endless morph sequences and pointless new additions.

Lost Galaxy - Seemed like a shitty spin-off of PR in Space. Was it before or after In Space? So mediocre i can’t remember.

Operation Overdrive - This season simply had no soul. Lame plot and no likeable characters.

Lightspeed - I really hated the Red Ranger from this season. That zord with the hammer was cool though.

Shit Tier:

Everything else. Fuck zeo and turbo, not a patch on MMPR.

Only good thing about Overdrive was Adam leading the Retro Rangers, doing his thing morphed and unmorphed (WTF is up with today’s rangers not doing their own fights or acrobatics??).

Wow are you people smoking crack or somethin, Zeo was probably the high point of the MMPR era. Ask anybody thats a huge fan of PR and they’ll tell you that Zeo was the shit.

I seriously haven’t seen anyone here elaborate on why they think its shit? I mean outside of the finale which was anticlimatic with the growing big and fighting King Mondo, that whole series was on point. Lots of action and lots of drama.

The first movie was the shit, seeing it on a dvd or youtube just doesnt do the movie any justice…you had to be there live when it first dropped…seeing the rangers in thier “movie suits” was cool because it was a new design so it felt different…as well as the ninja suits…although it felt to “ninja turtlish” at times when they where fighting saying something corny in the middle of a fight of course all the kids came to see tommy but each ranger got screen time which was good…

Wait wait. Ninjor came in the 3rd season of mmpr to give them their ninja powers. He comes back later to help them out. I dont remember seeing him in Zeo. I do know he was in Space along with the cop robot.

Yeah it was Auric the Conqueror who was in Zeo. He was seldom used though. I still don’t get the Zeo hate considering everyone even people who’ve grown out of Power Rangers will tell you that Zeo was just badass.

The current show is called Goseiger. Its pretty good so far. I’m just growing tired of the zords that have a bajillion combinations. I mean Go-Onger is a good example of a zord that was just a clusterfuck.

Zeo was epic as shit, especially the intro.

I dunno what people see in the SPD broads… I think they’re uggo as fuck. In Space broads and the Lost Galaxy amazon broad are the best ones. The yellow ranger from Lightspeed was decent, as was the other broad from Lost Galaxy… Karone, was it? Wasn’t she the In Space Red Ranger’s sister turned-evil-turned-good in the end? I keep forgetting about the Ninja Storm Blue Ranger. She’s not bad either.

I’m watching some of the final scenes of PR seasons on YT… Lightspeed’s was cheesy as fuck. Lost Galaxy’s was good–did the broad with glasses die and come back to life or something?

Edit: Time Force was pretty good. Dino Thunder was horrible. They left one of the rangers out of the ending. That alone fucked it up. Props to my nigga for scoring the hot white broad. The principal at the end is the hottest principle I’ve ever seen. Shit, I think I need to turn Million mode off for a bit. SPD was trash. I don’t know wtf Operation Overdrive is, but I had to cut that shit off after the first 20 seconds. Too much cheese, and not the good kind. Wild Force was okay. Turbo was mediocre, at least it perfectly led into In Space.

Shits on the chests of all the other ones I just mentioned. I remember I shat my pants watching this as a kid. I thought the Power Rangers really were done. Perfect way to jump into Zeo. Every part of this finale was amazing… Goldar and Skullo (forgot his name) appearances and they actually did their jobs right for once… Alpha’s aiyayais, LOL… Billy being a fucking idiot, because he spazzed out, he became crippled and couldn’t become a ranger in Zeo… Command Center blowing up, that shit killed my fucking soul… The declaration that the rangers are over. Sick! So fucking sick!

Ninjor is a fucking tool, btw.

I’m mad no one has Zeo’s final scene.

Was crazy epic all the way through. Lots of emotions running in the heads of people who had followed Power Rangers since “Day of the Dumpster.” Amazing. Truly Amazing. This ending marked the ending of a lot of classic Power Rangers staples… Bulk and Skull being the main ones.

^^ I agree Zeo was epic! New Costumes, Zords, Villains, and billy never to use a ranger powers again (Why I don’t think they explained it?) . I remember back in the day they were having a count down of who was the Gold Ranger because he would come out of no were an own the enemies like nothing Plus he was GOLD! Also who didn’t loved the fact that Jason came back for awhile to become the gold ranger. The one that killed it for me was Turbo. A little kid growing to adult size once he became a ranger come on!! Space was epic as well.
