American politics is a funny thing. Politicians know that to get anything that will help their personal ambitions passed they have to prey on the ignorant. Since the dumb get one vote just like anyone else, they truly hit these guys hard because not everyone in the country bothers doing any reading. For example, New York state put Andrew Cuomo back in the governor’s office even after the scandal where he had an independent investigation stop looking into his own office. That’s after he said his own office is okay to investigate.
With health care, that’s a large industry to tackle. We’re talking millions of jobs doing various things. Politicians would rather stay in office than put a law in place that may eliminate those jobs. I get why people are afraid to lose their means of support, but sometimes we need to sacrifice a few to get a better future. Imagine what America would be like if the Industrial Revolution never took place.

I didn’t know that the proper procedure was to take the knife from the attacker and then to stick it in his ass. I guess all those times that thugs with a knife attacked me and I had to defend myself I was doing it wrong.
It’s great that SRK has crucades to provide us with instructions on what to do when you get attacked by someone with a knife. Next time I get attacked by someone with a knife, I’ll make sure to take out the crucades commandments and follow them appropriately.
