I haven’t done much art in the last year or so. It has a few problems, but in an attempt fuel thy desire, I’m throwing something together when I can.

I know he’s supposed to be looking upward and it may be just a personal squick, but the eyes are a bit too large (esp the left). Even given an anime look, whenever the lower eyelid fails to touch the iris and shows too much sclera (eye whites) the words “thyroid problem” come into my mind. Otherwise, well done.
Is this the same Kamui as Remy? I’m pretty confused now.:xeye:

The coloring and line work are great it’s only the eyes that are a wee bit iffy. Other than that it’s looking PRIMO!

I like how you’ve used colour to build up the structure on his body & face. It’s a nice piece for your first post here - post up more when you can
So far a few ppl have listed some issues with the eyes, but I think the main issue is actually his eyebrow line. The angle of his eyebrows and the furrow between them would result in his eyes having a slight squint at the very least.

to clear up the confusion… Remy is an old member of SRK who used to post on the FanArt board. He goes by the handle of “Kamui” on other boards, but you signed up here first and so he went by the handle of “Remy” instead.

Oh, I know that – in fact, if it didn’t the first thing that would come into my mind would be weakness of the extraocular muscles. Still doesn’t change my first impression, though.

Very nice. I just wish there was a line somewhere for the nose to stick out like everything else. I love the sense of perspective and coloring man. I’ve learned alot from just staring at it.
Looking good man. I think if you connected the shadows a bit more this would look even better.
