I’ve been running Frank/Ryu/Wesker ever since the game first came out but I feel like my team needs revision. I got to talk briefly with Woolie of Two Best Friends Play about it but he never really gave me a concrete answer or a good suggestion for replacements. I’ve been mostly discouraged from competing in Marvel tournaments as of late due to a fair amount of bullshit I’ve had to put up with (and most of my confidence in my abilities destroyed by some assclown who used my team against me) but I don’t want to give up on the game.
I’ve been thinking of replacing Frank with Akuma but I don’t know if that’s the best option. I’m relatively competent with all three characters (with Ryu of course being my central focus) and I feel like Wesker works well with him. Any suggestions? I like using characters because I like the character him/herself, not because they’re top-tier. I figure most people on here will think it’s a retarded thing to say but I guess that’s just how it is.
