The only thing Lili and Karin share are manners and some personality. Arrogance and rudeness. That’s all. I would even say Lili is more childish than Karin but sexier.
Physically the same? really? They are nothing alike! Outfit= Nothing alike, Face= Nothing even similar, Eyes= Brown/Blue… the only thing they share is they are blondies. If that was the case, then Xiaoyu and Chun-Li wouldn’t be in the game. And they play totally different but they both share some similarities.
And figthing-wise they just share some counters but still they play totally different to me. Karin is more technical than Lili.
Karin was a PERFECT inclusion for this game to be a rival for Lili as well as Sakura for Asuka. I don’t really buy Lili’s rival is Cammy. Doesn’t make sense to me.
They don’t seem to care at all so that’s what we get.

Ingrid’s most interesting move IMO is that fullscreen grab super.
She’s very fun to play but damn, she’s probably one of the most bland, unoriginal characters Capcom ever made for a fighting game, design-wise. Still, I’m all for any “new blood” at this point.

Ingrid is a very terrible character she is boring as hell and extremely overrated, Karin and Lili are much better choices and I think everyone in here knows it. I kinda wish they gave her moves to a better designed character.
Karin and Lili are VERY similar not in moveset which I already said they aren’t but some are to dumb to read that but in mannerisms, personality, and yes they look very similar. So what they aren’t exactly the same they are still very very alike and this blatant ignoring of that is just silly.
I have not problem with people not agreeing with me or wanting both in as I do as well but let’s not bury our heads in the sand and pretend these two aren’t VERY alike because they are.

I just needed to say one more thing on this stupid argument that LIli and Karin aren’t alike. To make a terrible comparison of Chun and Ling and think you made a point? Really? Chun and Ling ARE different they look different, have diiferent motivations for fighting, and are even much different stages in their lifes. Ling mostly has fought in Tekken’s to get Jin’s attention while Chun has a much more serious reason for fighting which is to stop a world dictator. What a dumb comparision!!!
Lili and Karin are the same age ( well both teenagers anyway) have very similar face figures, wear similar outfits ( if you turn Lili default costume red she look JUST like Karin), both have similar backgrounds, and both fight for their something involving their family’s fortune. Oh and let’s ignore the fact that they are both schoolgirls designed specifically to rival tomboys (Sak, and Asuka).
How you don’t see all these things is not my problem so feel free to keep ignoring the obvious. Hell if they both wore their hair down you couldn’t even tell the difference.

How they got him to work in CvSNK and SFEX2 and 3 is beyond me though.
ingrid is indeed a rather bland character at the moment, but that doesnt mean she will necessarily be bland IF she is added to SFxT. remember. she has only really been in two games, and neither were exactly games that were they seem to have done much work with the character at all. one is a spriteripped rather poor fighter, and the other a version of Alpha 3 that was released on psp were the other new characters also were spirtes from other games jammed in.
look at characters like adon, birdie and gen. all of them were generic and bland characters until they were updated for alpha(guy with spiky hair, english punkrocker, chinese old man.)

No…she would be a more boring version of Lili Brennan. I like you man and I know you love your girly characters but CLaw is MUCH more popular and a better rep for SF than Ingrid as she has never even been in a canon game unless she was in Alpha 3 I’m not sure.
Ingrid needs to be more than a meme for hardcore Capcom fans to whine about before I like her being in another game. Poison had ties to current relevant characters, had legit popularity, was a character all her own ( no one was just like her),and had never been in a game before so she would both be: a new character and be VERY open for creativity as she didn’t really have any legendary moves that NEEDED to be in.
Ingrid has always seems to me at least as a poor man’s Athena.
Remember the albino character hint left by Oracle… Ingrid’s chances are rising.
