In the general discussion thread, Seth also said someone he used to play as a lot was in the game, apparently that’s Boxer or Dee Jay. So I’m gonna guess that Boxer’s confirmed. Probably teamed with Claw.

Karin is like Fei long but with more Rekka options, think she has like 5 variations of it and a godly AA. since everything juggles on counter hit it would be wise not to jump in on her. I welcome her and Elena
These Seth comments look reliable. He did the same thing with the golden bear statues in one of the stages, hinting at Kuma who made it in the game.
Balrog seems most reasonable to add. He can team up with Vega or Bison and will be the SF counterpart of Steve. I’d rather go for Bison-Balrog team, like they did in CvSNK: Millenium Fight 2000.
He didn’t say it did. The point is that a character appearing in the background of a stage has nothing to do with whether or not that character is playable ingame.
So far, all of the background models in SFxT have not appeared as playable characters. Comparing it to MvC3 or SSF4 doesn’t really do much. Different games. Just wish I had a crystal ball so I could see if this will be the case for the rest of the stages
