I only buy costumes I hate. Then I get angry at how bad I think they look and spit at my tv until I feel better

That Google doc confuses me; I’m probably reading it wrong, but it seems to suggest there are 600 gems.

Even for Capcom, overkill for DLC. (Assuming they’re all DLC.)

Yeah it confused me too. Shouldn’t there be entries for the new characters?

Think thats why theres “Expansion” at the bottom.

There’s only eleven of those though…I mean thats probably what it is, its too early to tell though.

Well, that sure explains Alt 3 Blanka in SSF4.

I think the amount of gems and costumes are Capcom building the framework to put that many of those items in this game. Remember people wanted only 1 disc version and hence that’s what we’ll get so Capcom have built the roads, they probably won’t go that far (definately won’t for gems) but having that option is a smart thing.

They did say that they plan to support this game for a long, long time, though.

3 months from now

WELCOME TO SFxT BBBQ EDITION THE EXTRA B IS FOR BYOBB OMGWTFLOL

on a serious note, them road mapping their DLC plan as Westlo put it, is a good idea, even though people have seen alot of the unfinished work that was left on the disk, we have a solid idea on what DLC we can expect, however…we don’t knw the “when” and the “who much” parts of the equation.

Like with SFIV, they may to plan to release the costumes in a long interval of time…basically months from now. Same with Gems, As most of us has seen, there “may” be brand specific Gems, among the what seems like “hundreds” of Gems. This finally leads to the remaining 12 characters(that were announced for Vita).

So lets get a few Facts out the way first…
-when they announced the 12 characters, they said they would debut on the Vita. . .
-However Ono said on his twitter that he will announce something at Captivate in regards to these 12 characters. . .

this leads me to believe at the SFxTK panel at Captivate they will discuss their DLC plans for the year, including when they will release the 12 characters for download, alt costumes, and Gem sets in the future.

Someone hack bryan and make him playable please lol

I wonder if the the Vita 12 will be time-released for the PS3 like MM and PM are. Seems odd that Sony would screw over their own consumer fanbase just to support another system.

If that was so Sony would of announced that now to order to get more sales from the people who are on the fence about which one they die.

Well think about it this way Blue~
If you wanted to buy SFxTK in general and you had a PS3 and 360…the incentives for PS3 seem to outweigh those on 360(except for online connection) so you have more of a incentive to buy it for PS3 because the 5 plus characters right?
That same rule can apply to the Vita Version…For people who were on the fence in getting a Vita for whatever reason now have a reason in getting it. The incentive to buy the Vita version is those 12 characters…thats how they are selling that version, because why else would you double dip if your not getting anything extra or different? Kinda like with UMVC3 how it had the hit box data and stuff that was exclusive to the vita version, the 12 characters would be used in the same marketing strategy.

I could say initially they was going to hold out on releasing the 12 characters until the Vita version was release…maybe to help extend the life of the game, but that may change due to demand of having the content.

Its widely known that most gamers are oblivious to the fact that the DLC is on the disk already…however because of what happened yesterday, things are getting blown out of proportion. Destructoid, and seems like soon Kotaku are going to highlight the fact that all this DLC content are on the disk…and Capcom(Seth more or less) is going to get alot of heat because of this, and their Initial DLC plans may change or be effected by this.

We all want to have all the content available to us right? however if things keep going the way they are, then things my end up not in our favor. Because Capcom is fully aware of whats happening…question is how are they going to handle this.

I don’t mind that they continue to blow things out of proportion this time. I mean we paid for this game, it has 12 dlc characters and we should get to have them for free of no charge.

Well…this is what i mean. say that you didnt know that the characters were on the disk, and the character pack was $14.99 for all 12 characters…would you pay for them?

This is the same discussion that has been beat to death…SFIV, and MVC3 both had content locked out from the users and they had to spend money to access it(to be fair Jill and Shuma were not complete).

the fact we know about the characters…or any of the other content is pretty bad to begin with…and now this whole thing is just going to get worse from here on out.

I say they should just stop leaving the content on disc to avoid these issues.

SFIV didn’t, and in the case of MvC3 they were missing sound files, as you mentioned.

the Alt costumes were on disk already >_>’
