Im assuming Ogre and Akuma dont have partners because they are bosses? Would make sense if the sub-boss is your partner gone pandora crazy and the final boss is Akuma or Ogre depending on what franchise character you have left. Then a 1on1 battle will make sense.

This seems to be about right. As for the ??? spots they belong to Blanka and someone else, I think Dan is highly likely to be this (please God be true) seeing how much he’s already appeared in the game, otherwise it will probably be Sakura.

You’ve already answered why they couldn’t have postponed the DLC.

Better than having to pay more by having to buy a entirely new disc down the line.

The way Capcom handled it in the 90’s was not a good example either. That was just inflation.

I would prefer the “Definitely not disc-locking” approach and not the, “Well at the time blah blah blah.” excuse that we have gotten on so many occasions.
