You realize that the layout they’re currently using for a website means absolutely nothing, right? It was the same thing for SF4 and MVC3. Ditto for the “spaces” people keep looking for on character select screens in demo builds.
I haven’t played it yet but I hope they make a more balanced game than what CvS2 was back in the day. Most SNK characters were… well not good compared to the Capcom characters.
Lord bison is confirmed, Because of Mishima Zaibatsu there had to be Heihachi, and Because of Shadaloo there has to be Master Bison.

They sure haven’t! Plus I HARDLY doubt Rufus will make it in because there are websites saying just because they are on the video doesn’t mean they are confirmed. R.Mika has to be a shoe in the mix because Ono has been trying to use her the longest and just like Karin and Rolento they all got cut.
Pretty sure Rufus is in because of the fact that they got both his English VA and Japanese VA to do voice work for the trailer. We should know by TGS though. Gotta look closely at those water splashes!

He leaked the entire MvC3 roster, MK9 roster, gave out obvious hints for the UMvC3 roster. He’s proven to be legit but people think he’s annoying and refuse to believe him.
Guy and Cody are in then, that must be the pair confirmed slipped under our noses, Lup responding to everyone worried about them not being in.
The only other possibilities are:
Dan + Haggar
Jin + Nancy

First of all, more characters = less chance for balance. Do we honestly need another 50 character fighter? UMvC3 already holds that role. These are 2 man teams in SFxT, not 3. Additionally, fewer characters can result in a more solidified, complete package, and perhaps no need for a Super or Ultimate version of SFxT. It’s simply unnecessary.
Not necessarily. Capcom would screw the balance no matter the size of the roster, since they don’t know how address the real issues of some really overpowered characters.
T6BR proved that even with a large roster, a balanced game is indeed possible.
