I remember he made a tweet a couple months ago implying that people’s concern about things for the game got them changing things, maybe what characters were included was one of them.

It doesn’t take several months to come up with a character and design it. Also, to the Japenese 16 hour workdays aren’t unheard of.

It is very possible that Lupinko’s info was dated (but still accurate in some regards) and that Capcom changed their gameplan.

Maybe Lupinko’s info came from early plans for them game and after Capcom met their initial goals for characters, they went ahead and tried to cram as many as they could up to release. Like maybe the plan was to have 46 characters but they were ahead of schedule so they were able to get 52 in there or something like that.

It would be really cool if there were extra characters that were not on that leak list. Also, who’s to say Lei and Alisa won’t be partners, given how dumb the story is in this game.

This is all assuming they are IN the game as characters, and not some dumb shit like cut scenes or something. Lol at Alisa being the “shopkeeper” lmao

Cuz Lupi’s always been right; if there is info he doesn’t have or know, then he simply doesn’t have or know them. I don’t see how it affects his credibility.

This doesn’t hurt his credibility at all. He never disconfirmed both characters nor did he say that the characters he had hinted so far were all he had - all he said was that the game had more characters than Marvel, which still stands true. He just never hinted at them, thats all.

He probably has the full roster, however, that doesn’t mean he knows everything, as he admitted not knowing Megaman and Pac Man were exclusives, even though he knew they were in the game.

As long as Lei doesn’t take anyone important’s place I’m cool with him. Though if he is in, either there is more street fighter characters as well or one of the tekken teams on that list was false. Long as its not Bryan/Jack I’m good.

As for partners, I’d guess either Feng, Wang, or to a lesser extent Bruce. Feng because of TTT2, Wang because they’re like sparring partners or something, and Bruce because they were partners way back in T2, but I doubt Ono knows or cares about that. Although probably not Wang either because he’s most closely associated with Jinpachi and Xiaoyu generally, so I’d guess Feng

It was something about a few of the SF4 voice actors tweeting about being in the studio on the same day. I think it was the ones for Ryu, Ibuki, Guy, and Rose. Back in March or April.

Would just like to point out that I don’t believe Lupinko ever really leaked a list. He hinted at characters, yes, but he has never officially leaked a list. The leaked list is only based upon his Tweets. That’s often overlooked by people. It’s possible that Lei and Alisa were hinted at long ago, but whoever made the leaked list didn’t notice it, and Lupinko wouldn’t be the kind of person to point that out. Stop doubting Lupinko, people, he’s had his hand in Capcom’s files for years now.

I’m actually pretty hyped for Lei for some reasons, although I know I won’t be using him. (ughhh stances)
I guess we’ll have to wait for the next character reveals to know if the leaked list is actually right. (Or most of it anyway)

At this point all I want is Leo or Lars, I’m cool with anyone else.
