If your using a WW character, learn a counter character incase someone else wants to use the same one and hope you lose the coin toss.
is this gonna be for ps2 or xbox? i heard the ps2 version has some bugs but oh well.

i can see WW guile being a scrub character of choice, sure theres ways around him but that doesnt quite justify not banning ww characters, theres no real arguement to suggest not banning them anyway.
if someone picks CE guile i can pick any character i want, if they pick WW guile i can pick any character i want apart from WW guile. surely its more fair if neither of us can pick him (or ww gief)

uhh you would have to blind pick the characters first, and if you wanted the same character, then a coin flip would be had. If you guess wrong to try to corrupt it, you will be stuck with that.
Correct. I also believe you can’t tech/be teched if you select O. versions too, but i’m not 100% sure on that.
everone might as well stop complaining, i doubt things will be changed. Let the tournament happen, and if anything wacky happens this year i’m sure evo will put bans or woteva in next year.
If it wasn’t for dirty ST charas like Boxer & Chun I would say it would be a much more technical tournament if it was just HF, Super & ST characters (which would be the best possible SF2 roster I can imagine). But the Supers and other crap of the ST top teir is just too strong, U really need the power of CE chars to stand up to it.
I can find no such justification regarding CE Dictator and WW charas. Its not so much that they are unbeatable, its more to do with how they reduce the game down to a handfull of ugly tactics and guessing games. Those charas have a huge depth destroying arsenal of crap inc:

CE Dictator specific crimes:
Doing the Psychocrusher so the back end clips you just as you get to your feet, rendering it almost unblockable, and its not the blocked sizzor kick U need to worry abt, its if one connects (just 1, anywhere) its game over. U only need watch some of those Korean CE matches to see just how broken this is, and thats at CE speed, all this stuff bcomes even more random at ST speed.
But anyway, its just cool to see AE instead of ST. The prospect of Jeff Shaefer and other oldschool US CPS1 beasts taking on top Japanese ST charas is just fantastic. Roll on Daigo vs Schaefer part 2.

Yeah Hyper Blanka is fantastic, and Jeff Schaefers is the best ever, but he has some horrible matchups against ST whores like Boxer… I wouldn’t be serprised to see him make an appearance somewhere in the tourney tho

c.mk, lk doesn’t combo I don’t think (if it does, it’s a one frame linke kinda thing) and lk x crusha doesn’t combo (you can’t cancel lk), and lk, lk doesn’t combo either.
