Are you sure? Vicious told me something interesting. In the corner, the crossup is from a vertical dive kick, not a triangle jump dive kick. You try going vertical?
I took my whole last tourney round against Gief and Blanka. Blanka had beat me once purely based off of Ultra tick damage, and I came back to destroy him in a second round fight. Gief had me down about 70% to 15% in the second round, but Rufus came back to peace him out like he deserved with some well timed Ultra combos. Damn that was rewarding. :wgrin:

nah, svenghali’s right, vicious, well half-right. the dive kick does cross-up (I think) but rufus can’t switch side when you do cross-up dive kick on the left hand corner. it’s a weird glitch

I just tested dive kicking in the left corner again, and I was able to cross up hit standing Balrog with very late timing. The leniency is very different from the right corner where you can cross up from even before the apex of the jump. I still can’t cross up a shoto standing in the left corner. I was able to connect on crouching Balrog and shotos with very late timing (maybe only a couple frames window).
I don’t know what you mean by valid, vicious. go to training w/ryu dive kick cross him up in the right corner. rufus will squeeze behind ryu. then try the same in the left hand corner. you’ll hit him on the back of the head and end up where you started.

with this setup your good and if you mess up you may even link the :mp: wath is althou good becouse you can althou :hp: tornado after;)
this trick is perfekt for rufus link^^
awesome i got it down now
the trick is to press the :hp: a split second earlyer(and hold the hp pressed ) then the :mp:
i do it with my index and center finger since the center finger is a bit longer it happen automatik
