Alex, when I’m in LA (Jan 26th - 31st), if possible I wanna get all the old school SoCal ST heads together and maybe have a big round robin or something. Cap that juice and put it all online. I think that would be great, because there is not a whole lot of American ST footage online.
After capping, we can throw on some commentary etc to make it extra juicy. Also gotta have someone there with a camcorder to record all the shit talk and hype. 'Cause it’s gonna be HYPE…

This is another dream of mine. I have been trying to get the management at the Team Sportscast Network to expand into fighting games. Currently, we have a working Video production and Audio production system. I know they are mostly PC based games, but take a look at our On Demand section to see exactly what video + commentary can do for a game. ANY game. Hell, CPL did it with Painkiller last year, and painkiller is a horrible game.

First of all, Thank you Alex for years of sf gaming and influencing many players. I even remember reading up on old magazines in middle school with tips from Valle. I have to say I’m on the east coast here and it seems to be very troublesome to actually get insight into learning from “top” players without driving quite a bit, and when attending tournaments the “top” player will wrap cats up and we go home saying “damn yo damn” I played Calipower on cvs2 xbox a while ago and it was sad how i got beat, but i wish i had some insight as to how i could’ve improved or what techniques would’ve gotten me out of some traps. Hopefully these new matches and commentary can do a huge thing for the community which is to make people play a lot more, improving and innovating then sharing with the community. Also, to have someone to “beat” once again, as the top dog etc. Some people are in the dark at my arcade and think valle retired forever or quit gaming, but this will open their eyes and make them active again and hopefully get the “local” top players out the woodwork and give them a reason to battle.
