-- RTSD - Round 2 w/ Alex Valle --

Cool. Ill be looking out.

ggs to everyone was a lot of fun meeting some new people

It was awesome to see the bobino rufus. Great matches with everyone. I learned alot, great feeling playing hours upon hours of street fighter with finals being done.

Shane - thanks a grip for hosting it at your place
Valle - thanks for organizing this event, it was sick

Nice to meet a lot of you guys - Bob, Bob, ChaiThai, Hugo101, MOVAL, Shidosha, is all I can remember coherently as of now. If I forgot you - sorry.

Thanks to everyone for beating up my scrub Akuma for hours on end. The pain was delicious.

Great times all, big thanks to Shane for for hosting and Alex for gettin’ this thing together. Valle ty for the Bison tips, nothing like having one of the best Bison players in the world giving you tips.

Nice to meet all the people I played, I appreciate the pounding. Nice streak for Bob had that Rufus game down tight for quite awhile.

Good games today, this was incredibly fun, and everyone was really cool. Glad to see that we have such a community willing to learn. Thank you again to Shane and Valle for this!

Good games. Cool meeting everyone.

will up vids later today

oh damn, i didnt know there was a R2 so soon

GGs to everybody that attended this weekend!

I’ll post up news on the next RTSD event as soon as everything is finalized, til then…

Practice up kiddies! :wonder:

Thanks again for having us over! Me and Megaman had a lot of fun.

Alex, thanks again for games and the advice. I’ll definitely work on playing more patiently. This event also reminded me that I need to practice HDR more offline. Between the lag and the fact that speed 3 online is faster than it is offline, it really messes with my timing and what things you can/can’t get away with.

GGs to the rest of the ST heads. Always fun to play you guys! :lovin:

to valle and/or anyone else who may have any input on this.

I did a few matchmaking games online in both VF5 and SF4 and i think i found my first issue. I discussed this with gerald since he knew what i was getting into and here is the convo as a whole (partally edited so the flow of the convo makes sense):

to give you a quick general basis on what we were talking about, we were started with nitaku

was gonna PM but since the objective is to help all grow into a threat for the rest of the world, i figured it would be best to leave this here for others to learn from.

does anyone have any tips or ideas to add to overcoming this hump?

also, digital illustration and typography have my creative sector on a state of red alert so creating situations on my own may be an issue. would you mind assisting me on exploring those pressure situations he was talking about? these are blanka vs (insert foe here) match-ups im talking about of course

i think this will up my vf & sf skills since the name of the game is Nitaku

Howie’s Game Shack - Westminster

I believe we need consistency rather than waiting for some event thats capped.

Issues-

Xbox only - no chars unlocked (I’ll see if I can unlock some w/howies staff)
Price - 5 bucks per hour/20 bucks per day
One dedicated gamer chair per station (we can use office chairs from pc side for 2 player though)

Pros-
70 xbox stations
HDTVs no lag
No person cap
In the mall w/foodcourt
EVERYBODY CAN GO aka NO CAP

Discuss!!
(I know I brought up Howie’s gameshack before, but the future is now folks!)

Can we get sthd going in that place? :frowning:

Ya, if they have HD, then I’d be a lot more likely to go.

Sounds like a decent place. I may check it out sometime.

if we’re lucky we can fit it on a memorycard (cuz we ALL have that) with our profile. right?

Theres a new Howies in Buena Park that might be worth taking a look at too

Ill be down to help unlock some of the characters if help is needed

Hello all. I live in Chicago, but I’ll be visiting CA soon. I think I’ll be staying near Burbank, CA. Is that anywhere near you? Cus I would like to come to a session during my stay in CA.
