The problem with making a Dr. B RPG is that Dr. B would, in a game designed to be representative of his abilities, preclude the need for other party members.

Go play Skies of Arcadia. One of the best RPGs of all time. Sega never fails with RPGs.
Grandia 2 is also good. A little easy, but man I loved the soundtrack. Kept me hype.
Eternal Sonata, if you’re into that kind of thing. Personally I’m not, as I prefer real time fighting as opposed to “now-its-your-turn-to-attack” fighting.

Also, the Lunar series is pretty damn good, too. I’m not sure how I forgot to include that. I think it’s getting another repackaging soon, IIRC.
Secret of Mana & Seiken Densetsu 3 are worth the time of everyone, but they’re more action RPG.
If you wanna get some other ones that are good for kicks, give Vay (sega cd!) a shot. Some pretty epic moments in that.

I’m not big on RPG’s, but I enjoyed both Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness and Jeanne d’Arc on PSP

And finally Bahamut Lagoon for SNES (I didn’t find this gem until a year ago)

If you can find the translated version, yes. I started to play it a long time ago and quit for some reason. I got that shit on my PSP and I might just run that shit back.
