Yeah, Iām sure Eliza magically made it into top 4 despite no one wanting her.
I have a feeling Eliza will get the first spot. Iām guessing because we were allowed to pick more than one character in the first few rounds, tons of players probably chose their favorite character then included Eliza as a second (or third/fourth in the earlier rounds). I wouldnāt mind if any of these 4 made it in though, Aeon included. I think the only character I really didnāt want in was science shark- yeah heās memetic but other than that I didnāt see the appeal.

Eliza got my vote sorry no minette or aeon for me. I was torn between Eliza and annie
Round 1: Dahlia, Molly, Regina, Feng
Round 2: Dahlia, Molly, Eliza
Round 3: Eliza, Stanley
Round 4: Eliza
Dropping Feng in round 2 was due to her popularity and my hatred for Bang. With Dahlia gone in round 3, I went with Stanley, because he seemed the most likely to throw stuff. Elizaās all that remains. Wouldnāt mind the others, though.

It doesnāt seem as though many SG players who come to shoryuken want Aeon in the game. I thought shed at least pull one over on minette. Itās also starting to look like Eliza is running away with it, at least by looking at these results, which really donāt mean that much in the scope of how many people are actually voting.
Considering there are around 11,000 active voters and this poll has less than 100 votes, I wouldnāt put too much faith in these results.
The mindset and general consensus of SRK is not something Iād compare to the vast majority of the people who donated and are voting.
If that was the case there wouldnāt be so much salt everywhere.
Thatās kinda what I said This is only a fairly small sampling of the people that actually play this game. The people that donāt play, casuals, and those who donāt come to this site arenāt a factor of the results in this thread, obviously.
Presidential polls designed to reflect the thinking of an entire nation of 350,000,000 people are generally based around 2000 recipients.
This poll has 11000 voters and a sample base of around 80 peopleā¦
Its probably just as accurate as those presidential polls if not MUCH MORE ACCURATE. And those are said to be accurate to around about 5% plus or minus.
The only thing skewing the results here are that this is srk and there is likely to be a hire amount of tourny players more willing to vote for Eliza.
Until you realize that even here on srk many of the posters here arent tourny playersā¦ And therefor represent a ārandomā slice of the voting population decently well.
At this point in time the numbers reflect what Peter is saying. Its probably a 70-90% chance that the leader in the voting is Eliza and after that its either minette or Annie. However its hard to imagine Annie as garnering that huge of a lead against the othersā¦ So statistically speaking its minette or Eliza with a much better chance of it being Eliza.
If you polled the deviantart or tumblr crowds, you would likely get a completely different result.
edit: I do see a lot of Eliza love here and on NeoGAF though.
The deviant and tumbler crowds more than likely do not represent a random slice of the population as much as srk doesā¦
Having said that you could be rightā¦ But you could also be wrong.
Those crowds may have very vocal supporters of certain charctersā¦ But perhaps there is an undercurrent of not so vocal supporters of different characters that you wouldnāt know about cause they dont bother with postingā¦ But will bother with clicking a boxā¦ Like here on srk where the majority of the votes are from people that dont post much. Unless you think there are 80 people consistently posting in the sg forum.

Actually its very likely that we think differently than all those dollar votes.

After revisiting the characters again and re-ranking with an open mind this time, Iāve found Iām starting to like Leduc. He just seems like heād be a cool character to put on my team with the eletricity pokes and all. Definitely going into my Top 10. Others Iām liking that I didnāt consider before: Molly, Panzerfaust, Hive, and gasps Stanley lol
