I main rose as well as evil ryu if the match up calls for it so count me in on that
i’ll never deny that ! he’s definitely one of the best rose players out there.
thing is we were talking about tournament play, with TKCS_NERFED saying that starnab was preparing against “the best rose player in sf4 tournaments history”. you certainly realize it is VASTLY different from casuals, and the kind of people who win tournaments are not necessarily the best players all around. they have a special something that allows them to draw the best out of themselves at the right times. luffy has been proving it for more than two years now, consistently. he’s right now MUCH scarier than keshikaran, you have to face it. too bad he can’t go 
Playing in casuals and playing in tournament are two different things.
But also, playing in Japan and playing in US are two different monsters.
US players are the master of just pressing shit which makes it harder for Rose to advance loll.
If Luffy went to Evo. I do believe he would go far but I want an American Rose player to do some damage.:tup: One of you dudes better make at least top 8 dammit.>:(:mad::badboy:. While some of you are big time I’m slowly trying to get my Rose to you guys level. Look out for me in the upcoming Big Two tournies and upcoming East Coast majors

Dang my pool matches are tough for me, all my nightmare match ups I will have to go up against.
First I fight deejay/guile player, if I win I play andyocr, if I win huh I fight js master, if I win I fight starnab.
I think I will go rose, cammy, cammy, rose.
IMO, Rose has a good matchup against Balrog and Cammy just downright loses.
I suggest you Rose against Balrog too haha.

I also do suggest that you use Rose against rog
against dee jay and guile you lame it as much as possible but dont forget you can afford to BLOCK projectiles. Not focus backdash / jump. Just block or reflect them back at them. The matchup is easier when they are in the corner and you are in the middle screen. and use U2 to regain space
I also think cammy wins against rose but the thing is that I dont think she can afford to much errors. Try not to put yourself in the corner, always, ALWAYS remember to block the dive kick in the corner as if he was going to hit you in front (it looks like it will cross up but it doesnt 95% of the time), dont mash buttons and if you are knocked down, try to see if their dive kick is done high enough for you to counter hit with EX soul throw (it can beat normal and EX ones and give you position for free safe jump / ultra setup)
specially the ones that just stay on your toe and press jabs like it’s sfxt while buffering ultra >_>
For clarification, I never said that Rose beats Cammy, infact, I think that Cammy is one of Rose’s hardest (although Trike disagrees with me 5-5 apparently).
What I meant was that against Balrog, Rose probably goes 5.5-4.5 in her favor against Balrog while Cammy just straight out loses to Balrog lol.

EVO was fun though. NIce meeting all the Rose player I did end up meeting :).
I seriously played FLAWLESSLY against Xian’s Gen. I don’t think I ever played better lol. It all came as a surprise to the people behind watching lol.
Against Kindevu it was really close, 2-1, last round last game. He played Seth on me which was a scare, I lost the first game and then Onlinetony came up to me telling me the secrets to beating Seth. And then I bet his Seth second game and then he switched to Cammy which was a very close game (I missed a goddamn grab).
And then Ryan Hart in losers finals of my pool he just truly adapted. That was my hardest match of the whole tournament >.>
Oh well, I got my moment on stream. I hope you enjoyed watching me make a fool out of myself :). My new nickname is Flarn. (Floe + Marn) How nice right? 
I don’t usually feed off hate, but I just laugh at people who don’t show up to anything call me flarn lolol. Or think calling me fat is an insult.
