I’m so gonna get raped! I’ve not really played with Rose in a while and I’ll be on a SDTV which feels a bit more lagggy than HDTV. How long will the session last? Is it gonna be like as long as people are in the chat room just play? Or is everything gonna have a timetable?
I think it might be a hour, or two hours long, depending on how long everyone wants to play for. We could do some casuals for fun afterwards, if anyone wants. If we have a lot of people, then we’ll use Team Battle or Tournament mode, as you suggested.
I sent a lot of friend requests yesterday reminding them that the session is today, and I sent a PM earlier this week, so hopefully a lot of people will show up, or a good amount.
It’s 6:30 pm EST, and only DBCLoop and Flowers are on thus far. If we want this session to be successful, we need more people on.
Really great session we had today. I’m glad we got a good turnout, and it was fun and productive. I will be putting up all the matches (I have tons), on here, and in the Rose videos thread. I’ll make sure they are organized. I will put up the non-Rose videos as well, so if you want to evaluate your own gameplay, or if you want to show it to a different respective character forum, feel free to do so. Lol, it went on for a lot longer than I anticipated for. It was great that it went on for that long. I remember your advice, I need to work on the Rufus match-up a bit more. Dive Kicks are my worst nightmare. You did fine in the beginning, don’t worry about it. I plan on getting the videos up by tonight (I have about 30 or so matches, so that’s why it’s taking me a while to put them up). Skrface13 has an amazing Blanka. We all fell victim to the green beast. We’ll get our revenge somehow :P.
Do we have any idea when the first xbox meeting will be? I can’t wait to get in on this.
The first Xbox meeting will take place sometime next week. I will let everyone know when it will start. I’m thinking about alternating between PSN and XBL each week.

What we’ve learned: My Rose sucks and needs to jump A LOT LESS and be much more patient, and my Rufus is f*ckin nasty.
If anyone has any tips for my rose feel free to post them. I noticed wayy too much jumping and unsafe sparks already but if anyone has advice as to what to do in those situations instead, and/or notices anything else i should be doing better please feel free to chime in. I am pretty hungry for Rose knowledge, strats, & tactics.
Your Rufus was beastly. One main reason why I put up the videos, is because by doing so, we could all analyze our own gameplay, and see certain flaws that we could work on. Sometimes we don’t even realize the mistakes we are making until we observe ourselves. I took out the 3 or 4 matches that didn’t involve Rose (this is the Rose forum), but I will PM those matches in case you want to look at those as well. I’m almost finished with uploading all the videos.
