It’s certainly possible. I’ve done 720s and 360s on it, but I haven’t, like, trained for it since Rose has always lacked a 360.

GGs man. One piece of advice for sure is to not be so predictable on wake-up. Every single time you would either backdash (most of the time) or EX Drill. It’s ok to just block sometimes and could probably save you from taking damage at times.
Another thing is to press the advantage more. This is the wall to climb for most Rose players trying to level up with her that I run into. Spark-dashing is effective enough to the point where its easy to get caught up in forcing the opponent to come to you and simply win by punishing him as he chases you. This is fine and is a part of Roses game in a lot of matchups but don’t let it be your only source material. Know how to mix it up and go on a high pressure offense. Know when to Spark FADC, tick throw, bait reversals, etc.
Ah, yes! I got caught by c.hk so many times, I was so amazed at how my brain just shut down against your offense.
Thanks for the tips, you are right, I have to seriously think outside the box on this one, because im so stuck on Spark-Dashing for the most part.
It’ll be great when we have lobbies and we can all pile into a room, slap each other with purple and whatnot. I haven’t been on SF4 lately, got Demon’s Souls/Tekken/Ninja Gaiden, but I’m still up for games with people I’ve heard of. Fighting randoms is just a waste in so many ways.

I’ll be honest krayzie I didn’t feel pressured really on my wake up. Most of the time you let me get my ex drill out as I kept trying to bait you. I noticed that about you too, as saqs said.
Careful. Rose vs rose is tough. A kd means a few things. You have a few options and sometimes I can cover both. If you block my throw willbeat you. After that I’m expecting you to not block again. I’m expecting a tech attempt, back dash or soul spiral. I love c lk, throw. If you try and spiral I sometimes can block and throw again. If you tech, I’ll have the tech throw covered.
If I see your back dashing I’ll drill you on wake up, which will best your dash, and can beat your ex drill. And if course a sweep will beat a standing block and back dash.
Rose can really punish hard in a mirror match, and I worked hard to keep you down and keep you guessing.

Mirror matches themselves are pretty much a waste of time as well IMO. Especially between two good players. It becomes pretty random and all about xcopying to some degree. Of course it’s good to know the matchup but it’s sooooo not fun.
You’re so right man. And I hate the mentality that “x and x player should do the mirror to see who’s best with the character!”, cause doing that doesn’t mean shit. It hardly even means the person that wins is better at the mirror. To figure who the better player is, you’d have to look at how they fight EVERYBODY ELSE
Even tournament results alone wouldn’t do it. Say one dude always places top 3 in his locals, whereas I usually am just outside of top 3. What has to be factored in is that he only has 5 people in his scene and they’re all terrible, whereas I have 30 or so with a few high level or top players in mine.
Characters and players make it hard to really say who’s better. With enough info, you can start to make a decision…but yeah. The mirror is randomness. A lot of things are, including tournaments.
I’ll keep that in mind. I just cant remember our matches that good, I don’t have a decent stick for PS. I hate the way the FS3 is built, I accidentally kept throwing EX Spirals from far because the right side of my hand touched the last button. Its also so damn small, its like it was built by fisherprice or something… lol

Mirror matches are crappy. Rose vs rose is like bison… Who can hit scissors/drill.
Teaches you to space though. And time. Shows you what it’s like to play against rose.

Rose’s are so few and far when i play online i love the mirror matches with her now. Helps me learn fighting her a bit more then just playing her. had a match last week on the PC were we went Rose bowl back and forth. I think we both said screw the match and just have fun, forget his name (might have been one of you guys). I was laughing after the match cause of it.
No, mirror matches are no fun, but they happen so rarely with Rose that I can actually enjoy them.
