I have improved my match up significantly against Gief since the last time I played with Flipinoman Gief. The main mistake I make against Gief nowadays is letting him jumping/getting in for free without punishing him at times.
GGs ClydeBryd, its good to played a non scrubby Gief. I look forward to more sessions. Also I don’t use a stick, I use the 360 controller analog stick. I have no trouble performing anything in this game with it.
I will no longer be free to Gief, Rufus and Roses other bad match ups. I have them all down now thanks to SRK, youtube, and buddies I have sessions with. People will still have to work if they wanna defeat me with any character.
I had a feeling I’d find you on these forums. Good games from earlier. I was then Gen you beat 6-2 I think. Once again, good stuff man. One of the best Rose players I’ve fought so far.

Dang, I wish I could pull off combos that successfully with a controller. I don’t know how you can be like that, I guess I need to go in some Hyperbaulic Time chamber Dragon Ball stuff and learn that. Its not like I’ll have extra funds for a custom stick anytime soon. I don’t even want a stick if its not custom. Thats just how I am.

I see a lot of fellow Rose players here who I’ve played online. Nice fighting with you today Saqs and Metroxlyon, you guys are awesome. I hate Rose mirror matches, I lose to her more than anyone else except Gief. I’ve been playing a lot more with other characters though recently. First post on Shoryuken.com. Bam!
after coming to an epiphany about SF4 (…) I have a somewhat renewed interest in the game. So I am looking to get back into Rose rotation. Hit me up for some matches please (I’m also playing Dan, HaHaHa).

I was there (got peaced in pools against Chaos) and have played him plenty on PSN since he’s on my FL (porkloafking). His Rose is solid but he really keeps it basic. He pretty much beat Jibbo with throws and c.HP AA.
His Viper is A+ awesome tho.
Rose is the character I seem to fall back to ALL the time when I play online. I’m still working on some combos with her but I can say my Rose is pretty average.
I’m always looking for some Rose players but I can never find any, hopefully I can play some of you guys soon…although I have the PS3 version

The connection wasn’t perfect but I think we played some pretty close matches.
You probably don’t remember this but several months ago we played a set too and I didn’t stand a chance. Now it was competitive and I even one a few matches.
I’m happy to see My Rose has improved a lot.
I don’t want to make a thread just for this and I usually don’t post this kind of stuff. But I was just screwing around in player matches and was playing this guy. After I beat him 3 or 4 times he sends me this message:

ROFL. Rose can apparently do whatever she wants and according to that jackass ROse is a scrub character and I’m a scrub for using her…lol Needless to say I kicked the cowboy crap out of him and apparently he was a little pissed his Ryu, Guile and Chun Li stood absolutely no chance…lol
