found some nice Hard Maple at home depot woo hoo finally! they got the maple ive been asking for they had a section for it but never any maple. so they answered my call. Guess it’s gona be Maple cases from here on out.

funny thing, i work with stone mostly facing(but real stone not the fake stuff). I can build spring boxes/well houses and lay stone. I’m from the sticks so things like that get pasted down. I never shaped the stone I always would just leave it as nature as possible no cutting just fitting them together. what was you thinking?

still trying to figure things out. I got 2 cases glueing and I still have to plane down my Maple. I got alot of requests for cases and only a cpl spider sticks so I may make a cpl BLANKS for sale but these first two will be RWX-01 spiders. black editions! then I will open a thread in the Trading outlet to sell them. I will post a link on here to that thread when that day comes.
The custom work was getting to me, I hated using others artwork on my sticks so I stopped. I am no longer making joysticks with ANY copywritten characters or designs printed in the artwork. not even about the sue part more about the artist moral part.I really never needed to take/use/steal images, it just made it easy on me and to draw out the whole template would be adding a custom art charge. the drawing may take longer than the joystick case lol. so that is why I took images before, by making my own designs I save myself the hassel of many things.
Feel free to add your own art- guess that is why they want -do it yourself- cases lol.
I will send a psd of the template so if you want you can design your own template.
since I will be selling more than one of the same design so I wanted to make sure all my bullets were primed and ready to fire.
the Spider stick is the first of my custom sticks, I will make a select number of them for sale then move on to a new theme. I will number each one and sign it.
I’m trying to stay away from the whole -do it yourself- cases but I still may make a couple. I don’t have a good spot to work so I can’t really pump out sticks like I want to, I would love to make 5 a month but that is impossible for me.
I will take orders but no payment- for some reason being bound to money like that makes me nervous and I mess up alot. but when I use my own money It goes smooth. I will explain all this in the other thread. I dont want to go over sales in this thread-sorry*

added this to the stick only made the reg height 1/32th shorter(can’t even tell), I sanded it down about half the thickness then put four short washers ontop of the joystick plate around the screws. looks much better now!!!

I do have question though: Since Your going to be doing DIY cases…Will you able to accommodate a different layout? I’m a big Fan of the 6 button Sega Layout and I would like that layout instead of the vewlix?
yeah I can prob do that for you bro, I'm also making a 6 button vewlix layout panel for a case that has 1 button on each side. so you can use if for pinball games. those cases will be 6 button, only other way I could do the buttons on the case is use the 24mm and space them closer. I will just post what I have for sale on the other thread as far as DIY cases. I have 2 X-waves ready for the new design and one other case that almost done. send me the layout when you get a chance.

I got a dark green/pearl case and a black/pearl case. just need to make the panels everthing else is done so yeah I will if thats what you want but I think you was the Athena stick so that green may work. I can give you a deal if it’s not what you want but I have to sell these first. soooooo broke lol.
