Do the “asian style” pearl buttons have sanwa switches, right? Will these buttons respond just like regular sanwas?
The Pearl Pushbuttons do NOTcome with Sanwa Switches. You can remove the Rollie switch and replace with a Sanwa. Your choice.

To me the default switches feel more or less the same as sanwa, maybe a little stiffer. You can also order SW-68 sanwa switches if you want some piece of mind.
From my play with them (stock) they are ever so slightly stiffer, just enough where I find my execution somewhat improved. You can rest your fingers on the button without accidentally setting them off. They are also more responsive than the TvC buttons.
The thing is I’m used to seimitsus, never tried sanwa. Wanted some sanwa for next project to give them a try but only rollie offers the color I want. Are stock rollie switches more sensitive than seimitsus?
Yeah the stock are more sensitive than seimitsus, but the difference wont be as drastic jumping from seimitsus to sanwas. The best thing is to just get the SW-68’s and try them out both ways.

Also you can put in the switches used in Seimitsu 24mm buttons into a Rollie.

Yep. 24mm seimitsu switch, fit in 30mm rollie.

Besides the 24mm buttons, these are also used in some seimitsu 30mm buttons. PS-14-K, PS-14-P, and PS-15.
The Sanwa SW-68 are in the second column, and the Seimitsu PS-14-d switches are column 3.

Was wondering if someone could help me. I just got a Madcatz TvC stick and I want to switch out the stick and buttons. For the buttons, I should be looking for the 30mm ones right? I’m also wondering if there’s a difference in the joysticks. I like the stick on the TE, which I think is the Sanwa JLF and the TvC one just doesn’t feel right to me. Should I just get a Rollie OG stick?
Also, is there anything else I would need?
