I was wondering if you had a rough estimate of when you would get in the Pearl buttons. Sent in a email but wanted pearl buttons in the order. Also are the pearls actual Seimitsu or high quality knock offs. I’m fine with either if they are as good as the translucent buttons.
ponyboy, any estimated timeframe on which my buttons should be shipped out? I ordered some translucent 24’s and 30’s.
I am waiting on 24’s the should be in by Nov 19.

Yo Pony, gettin’ the buttons in today? Sorry, I’m anxious!
I got a sample to try out/show-off. See attached pictures. It’s installed in ArtHong custom top w/ chun-li stick TE. I tried my best to take the pics, but the ‘irridecense’ is hard to show off correctly with the lighting in my office. For comparisons sake I also have a ‘stock’ white sanwa next to it so you can see the increased ‘whiteness’. Makes me kinda want to do a ‘white out’ stick, heh.

In terms of feel, I’m not ‘actually’ playing with it right now - but the throw is like .5 mm longer than the sanwa, nothing I doubt is truly noticable while playing, the ‘button surface’ at least feels more spacious…there is more button to hit so to speak. Its not as loud as the seimitsus, but not as quiet as the sanwa…though I admot that right now its not proerply secured. All in all I give it a thumbs up…let me know when I can buy more to complete the set.

Bonus, this could have been discussed with the other buttons, but the snap in is PERFECT for arthong’s custom tops…I didn’t have to shave jack off the button.

How do the pearls take to leds? Is the white a match to my balltops?
It is not a true match…it still looks good together and compliment each other…but you pearl is more focused on the pattern aspect, while these are alot brighter and focused on the texture aspect. Ill take a pic of those side by side in the morning so you can see.
Looking at those pics plus others i just didnt upload…it matches a bit more than i give it credit…the pearl buttons are just a stronger white than your balltop. Ill still take the pictures tomorrow for you.
As for leds, ive been slacking on doing the work…just got my new soldering iron last weekend as the last one had kicked e bucket. Ill try and do something sometime this week but my wedding is wednesday sp who knows how free i will Really be heh.

Hey Ponyboy, when yo ucan, can you post pictures of the green? I have a lime balltop from Butteroj that would look GREAT with green pearl if its a bright ‘lime’.
