glad someone is on board who knows it could be 15. since i am posting i do a lil update so i am in the process of getting a pot bonus for the game with most entry and a select game which i have not choose yet. its looking pretty ok so far wish i could be a druglord and throw everyone money but the bonus is going to be rather small like a 100-200 dollars
so we got a venue now it is going to be mad hatters house of games http://madhattershouseofgames.com/ you can check them out if your ever in lubbock and play card games hit it up godlike place been going there since 2006. so on to official news we will have these 4 games ssf4ae,umvc3,injustice,sfxt all will be 5$ dollar entry. game formats 3/5 ae all the way through, umvc3 3/5 all the way through, injustice 2/3 till grand and winner finals 3/5, sfxt 2/3 till grand and winner finals 3/5. ok so those are the formats for the game i am happy to announce we will be running a ranbat leading up to a finale it will be a 3 week season then a 1-3 week grace period(not sure yet looking at schedule) for people to prepare them selfs for the finale. now most of you will wonder why are we doing a ranbat instead of a monthly it is cause we feel like it would better the scene in general. we give people the option to come play a weekly our casuals you do not have to come to the weeklys if you want. it is a option for players who are hungry for play and seeding points for the finale. we do encourage people to come to the finale it will function like a monthly im throw this out there IF YOU DON’T SHOW UP TO THE FINALE “UR A FAGGOT” jkjk. also if you do not want to play in the tournament but still want to come and just chill hang out you can pay the venue and just play casuals. we will have a 4-6 tournament setups and 4=8 causal section where the players can do whatever they want. meaning you can bring whatever game you want and play. if you want to bust out a porn be my guest just invite me to we literally dont give a fuck what you do for the casual station however it will be first come first serve. now to address up to discussion matters with the community first off what time and day would you guys want. the available days are monday-thursday the times we are looking at 5pm-10pm day not sure yet. would the community buy arcade stuff like from http://www.arcadeshock.com/store.asp if people ask we can probly get hatter to carry arcade stuff for sell ps hatter does not charge taxes on ANYTHING. here are some tba things the venue fee cost we have a idea of like 5$ for the ranbat and 10-25$ on the finale but wont disclose official information till a announcement date. tba a stream for the weekly not sure yet the finale will be streamed for certain tho. tba date for the ranbat most likely august hopefully sooner. btw if anybody wants to help just let me know i am a very open loving person if you want to be a bracket runner,TO staff,commentator let a nikka know naw mean. we are trying to get a stream for the ranbat but we have problems with getting a stable connection and 4g is to much we are going to see how much we can cough up after the first weekly we don’t want to take a big hit to pockets on the first week for 4g and have just lubbock people show up. plz keep in mind peeps venue fee is alot where we get money aid from so we can keep running events and having streams etc etc so if you really want to help show up every person counts. final note thx to everyone responding i appreciate alot shout outs to brayne storm and chairman you can thank those two if it was not for them i would not give two fucks about this GET IT since they where the only two people who respond to the thread hahaha i am godlike. one more shout to the amarillo nikkas coming back to srk btw if any1 knows how to get a hold of the levelland nikkas let me know. peace

ya just waiting for the UCC series to be done then we will start the tournaments did not want to overlay with them since the midland guys go there annually. wednesday is looking like the day of week we cant get the weekend days till we start showing numbers and turnouts

i think ucc ends on the august 23 not sure i will have to check but we will start the first tournament a week after ucc. i cant wait to start playing tho shit is going to be mad fun
Awesome… Im hoping ill be able to bring several players each time… I plan on using facebook to attract people here in town… I planned on doing a facebook drawing in,which 25 people or so like a status and I randomly choose 3 of them that I will pay venue and 1 game so basically a free chance to compete in 1 game… hopefully I can get somebody to bite that way…

Playing cuz you like it is all good and well… But anyone picking up that game now has no benefit. It’s in that Tekken/MK9 status. Shit is gone and u can’t disagree or get mad. And the truth is it died cuz it sucked, esp when it came out. There is no argument lol. Competitively speaking, Marvel and AE are the only game worth it atm.
But like I said earlier I’m down for picking up one of the new fighters coming out. Especially Guilty Gear.
