I’ll already be in NYC when I go. Right now I’m just trying to find a cheap hotel for my friend and I to stay in.
Might be able to get in a room with neil if he gets one

Playing Mahvel is like being in an abusive relationship that you just can’t seem to leave.
Gary pls.

more like playing model, a nurturing, reciprocal relationship that cuddles you with warmth. unlike the game which is not to be mentioned, that you return to because your bruises are healing and you think it’s learned not to throw you downstairs anymore.
guys, steve just had his birthday! happy birthday, steve! (sorry for lateness, just noticed on my calendar.)
Troll bdays.
Happy birthday Steve.
Also, new Arcade flyers are up.
One of the best batches so far.
Drag Race is amazing.
Haha, touche, Gary!
And thanks guys!
Wasim, I was listening to your OSTs and this one section in a Garou song reminded me of this old school trance song that was pretty famous back in the day. There is a 10 second section that is very similar. It has the same main melody, even the same arpeggios. Musical collusion? Probably not, but I thought it was an interesting coincidence.

good ear, steve. i played a ton of rock back then and loved the theme, then heard the song on the radio and pieced it together. i complained a lot about how cvs2 treated rock but looking back, they rebuilt him for nice footsies.
Happy Birthday Steve!
No really though, enjoy your day, it comes once a year!
On another note, in Fort Worth, Tim Love (some dude on Top Chef) has a restaurant in the stockyard called the Lonesome Dove Bistro. It serves uses game meat in a lot of the courses. This picture right here is a elk slider with foie gras and some blueberry sauce. It was godly. I didn’t take a picture of other stuff but there was some rattlesnake/rabbit sausage on top of some fried potato (it was okay, the fired potato was good though). Apparently it’s also a great place for wine too but I don’t drink, so that sort of thing is lost on me when I go to these kinds of things.
just noticed it’s a pretty big picture

Gotta love how Rock can do a sweep into Raging Storm.
I think there were a few others in CvS2 that could sweep into super as well. That’s some fine Breakers Revenge shit right there.

Both stunning.

I feel good after streaming some Garou:MOTW on GGPO. All that nasty SF4 salt is gone.
We need to hang out and play some Garou Wasim.
Spent the weekend packing (moving back to Pittsford since brother is out now) and finally messing around with Garou.
Due to move there will be no main post update this week, but I will say this: Garou is the purest, simplest, most complex arcade fighter I’ve ever seen that isn’t actually broken. Even 3S isn’t anywhere near this level of finesse.
Also, the TOPS system is X-Factor and predates it by a little over a decade.
Just incredible.
