If we had Neymar, if we had Silva, odds were on Brazil to win. Neymar isn’t at fault for having his back broken, but Silva could’ve been there to coordinate defense if he didn’t fuck up with a 2nd yellow card against Colombians. Also: What the fuck was Scolari thinking? Why didn’t he play Dani Alves, one of Brazil’s best defensive players? Why did he pull Hulk in 2nd half when he was one of the few people trying? Why didn’t he double up on defense and work on counters instead of pure offense?
Scolari’s plan was shit. He wanted to run fluid offense with a team he built for more tactical play.
Silva fucked up.
Scolari fucked up.
Thankfully, this doesn’t have to be how Brazil is remembered. There’s still the game for third place between Brazil and whoever loses tomorrow.
They can redeem themselves with exceptional play. I urge you guys to pay attention to how their defense improves drastically with Silva on. Then you’ll know how big of a difference he makes.

It isn’t Lebron’s fault for losing the finals, not at all. It’s the team surrounding him that didn’t step up to the plate, whether it’s finals fatigue (4 times to a championship is taxing, along with all those playoff games) or apathy.
In a side-note, since I know I should be having games Friday and Saturday, anyone still interested in games today? Starting around 7ish. Just let met know, and if not, I guess I can lose myself to XCOM for a few hours.[/s]
