Rochester, New York -- "That is a white ass menu..."

Not bad my man, not bad at all.

I will forever avoid MuchiMuchi and all that crap.

I think what impresses me most is that PS2 Ibara. That is some Super-Rare SHIT. Mad expensive IF you can even find it. I can only manage the ROM, which in itself is damn near impossible to find.

I think my favorite shooter of all time is DoDonPachi Daioujou. Then, Deathsmiles in second and DoDonPachi Daifukkatsu in a VERY close third.

Because I’ll be shifting to QA at my company in January, I will no longer be working for my boss who is the woman who hired me.

As a gift for hiring me and being a pretty understanding boss, I got her a large art book of Italian Renaissance master painter Michelangelo Merisi da Caravaggio.

. . .I hope it’s appreciated.

Pink Sweets is the sequel to Ibara so of course I HAD to buy that bundle. God bless that Japanese man who sold me the copy of Ibara (Complete with strategy booklet) because it’s my favorite game. I think finding a copy of the original soundtrack with the Mother Teresa figure is truly impossible though!

For me I like Ibara 1st, Ketsui and Daioujou tied for 2nd, and I can’t choose between Mushihimesama/Daifukkatsu/Deathsmiles for 3rd.

Does she like Renaissance art? Caravaggio is a dude who knew what was happening when it came to putting paint on canvas; if the book is decent quality, I’m sure she’ll love it.

I like Ketsui because of it’s absurdly complex scoring system. Not as bad as Mars Matrix. . .but if Ketsui DIDN’T have that scoring. . .then overall the game is pretty average.

It kind of holds a weird place where CAVE tried to make a shooter that was both easy to pick up and play. . .but still had enough overhead where someone who was really good, could still play around with the scoring.

That’s why Ketsui isn’t nearly as a challenging as any of the other CAVE shmups. . .and why the scoring is absurd.

Also, the other way you can tell that the score system is the REAL star of that game is because they include a Ketsui scoring mode in Daifukkatsu. So, CAVE knew that the only real strength of that game was numbers goin’ on behind the scenes.

Play melty.

Really nice, makes me wish I’d thought of getting my boss a gift before she got canned, but I barely knew her interests.

so im introducing a player’s choice for dustbowl… letting u guys vote on the 5th game to be at the tournament
games are :
Playstation all-stars
KOF
SCV
Guilty Gear
SFxT

so guys which one of these do u want?

also Cha Cha im asking for u to help with this tournament

I wanna vote for KOF, but Guilty Gear sounds good too. So I’ll vote for GG.

Anyways, anything going on tonight? EGS is back in action now isn’t it? Or maybe we can arrange a meet-up somewhere. I dunno. I’m dying for some offline magic.

Damn Damus… DoA cant even make the ballot, profound sadness!

People gonna give me the “huh?” Face. But ill vote for PS all stars. I would love to see GG but im feeling it wont get many participants, especially a whole 3 months from now.

Might I add a suggestion Damus? You should ask for people to vote for two games. First and second choice. When you tally them, first choice gets 1 pt and second choice gets 0.5 pts. This wilk give u a better idea of the game most ppl would like to play. And it helps decrease the risk of losing someone just becuz their sole game didn’t get selected.

And to quote da Hodgetwins " This is all just advice. … You can do whatever the F*******KK you wanna do!"

This time around? Guilty. The Plus R patch should have dropped by then so it’ll be a whole new game.

I kind of just took a wild shot. But I included the gift receipt if she hated it.

You ever return those knives?

Hell no!!

I love them!!!

That shits amazing!!

Heads up - set aside that DLC money for SFxT characters you neglected.

Mhm. EGS is happening, 8 at the SAU at RIT.
