Rochester, New York -- "That is a white ass menu..."

After Mubarak, every ally in the region knew what they were dealing with.

Difference in Egypt was that the opposition was peaceful (mostly) and only comprised of some extremists like the Islamic Brotherhood, but a vast majority of the opposition was just regular civilians. . .many of them highly educated. This helped drown out the stupid extremists somewhat even though in post-Mubarak Egypt the Islamic Brotherhood did win Parliament seats, Egypt isn’t turning into some decrepit, zealous Islamic state. So, the U.S. staying out of that one is fine.

Syria is just a massive shitstorm and the U.S. has just decided to not only involve itself, when it really can’t afford to, but to also throw some of it’s weight behind the greater of two evils. I believe this is because, yet again, the U.S. government has built up a false narrative where: government = bad, rebels = good, and have actually begun to believe it when the rest of the world can see it’s not that fucking clean.

This is exactly like Reagan’s support of the Contras in Nicaragua in the 1980’s. They were a terrible group of people that tortured, raped, and tormented civilians. . .but the U.S. didn’t care because they (the CIA especially) were using them stop South American socialism.

There aren’t enough tables in the world for me to flip right now.

Cha Cha:
so is it true damus? i heard you ripped off the venue of money you owed them and tekken was ran like crap? If true, i dunno why people still give you benefit of the doubt.

someone is spreading this rumor …

those are some mean rumors. . .

 i dont understand

Wow, sounds like someone must have left your tournament extra salty. :open_mouth:

yea… idk who tho

no one wants to step up and admit it

My take on rumors has always been that as long as it’s not true, it doesn’t matter.

If nobody is willing to come forward with that real shit, then it’s clearly not real enough.

Syntax is a funny thing. . .

When you put ‘I heard’ at the beginning of anything, it turns any fact into something ‘less-than-credible’ sounding. . .

‘I heard that you need oxygen to make water.’

‘I heard that Gary is Chinese’

‘I heard that the sky is blue’

‘I heard that Rochester has black people’

‘I heard Wasim likes to post pictures of dead insects’

‘I heard that Dan likes Golden Corral’

that slander!

Guy in England calls ‘999’ (=911 US) to complain about prostitute being uglier than described, citing the ‘The Sale of Goods Act 1979’ which “gives consumers legal rights, stipulating goods which are sold must be of satisfactory quality, be fit for purpose and must match the seller’s description.”

GGs England. Consumer rights FTW!

Maybe I’m caring too much. But it would obviously have to be someone who was in the tekken bracket? And would know chacha, which could mean from buffalo maybe? How big was the tekken bracket, this list can’t be long.

If it means something to you damus. Nothing like the good old direct confrontation if u ask me. “hey did u happen to say theses things”.

Tho the best thing about unfounded rumor is that u can keep it pushing and cuz aint nobody got time for that.

bout 12 people… i do alot for the community and have this happen is bull
