Saw Oblivion last night.
Pretty good film.
Very unique premise.
Excellent music and fantastic set design.

I agree with u on everything accept unique premise. That particular lot isn’t anything new. It was still executed well tho.
I’ve been looking for a movie to see, was looking at that Evil Dead remake.
Jurassic Park 3D is tempting though.
I watched Sherlock Holmes over the weekend, I love at what a badass fighter they made Holmes into.
If you want mindless gore than check out Evil Dead. Don’t expect anything like the original. Heard good things about Oblivion despite it looking like one of those fake trailers from Tropic Thunder.
If you want mindless and stupid entertainment, FDR: American Badass is awful entertaining.
I guess I should qualify what I mean by ‘unique premise’ by saying that it’s unique in that it’s a lot of good ideas that we have seen before in a lot of other sci-fi, but put together in a different way.
All-in-all though, a very enjoyable film.
I really liked it’s atmosphere and I hope they have/release some kind of art book for it because the art direction of that film was very inspired.
Also, picking up Injustice tonight. . .and going to pre-order Soul Sacrifice AKA the first Vita game worth buying since November.
College update: auditions for the main stage shows for next semester happened, I am currently cast in school for scandal. Also just saw a dude that looked and sounded like troll Steve in the egg line, threw me off there

The best mind less fun in thr movies right now is Olympus Has Fallen. So check that out. I thought oblivion was good, but its skippable to be honest. If you need a scifi fix it will do. Scifi has been under whelming as of late

Last Sci-Fi film that completely blew my mind was Sunshine.
looking forward to Pacific Rim though. . .but it’s questionable as to whether or not that’s sci-fi or action.

Well, what would you have classified Battleship as?
I guess Battleship is scifi becuz of aliens. But id almost put it into action film.
Oh man sunshine. Thats the kind of movie u can only watch once a lifetime. Depression on full blast in that movie.
