So… Capcom is planning for an “Avalanche” of DLC as they revise their current business forecast.
EDIT: I also forgot to mention that the Deadpool game is coming out June 25 of this year. $49.99 for consoles and $39.99 for PC.
This whole post is filth.

I’ll add it to the heap!

“This shouldn’t come as a major surprise to those following the mainstream game business. It’s become quite clear that companies like Capcom are trying their damnedest to retain their cashflow in the face of a fragmented audience by making more money per game sold. If Capcom can’t increase it’s audience size, it’ll fleece the current one for more cash.”
Yeah… that kind of makes sense o.o
Isn’t everyone tired of DLC?
When this first became a thing, my OCD/completionist tendencies compelled me to download all the DLC for all the games I had.
As the years have passed though, I’ve just kind of burnt out on pretty much all DLC because they have all become increasingly shallow.
Most DLC now is just some hollow, aesthetic add-on that doesn’t really add anything to the game itself.
The last DLC I was really compelled to buy because it actually added a ton of relevant, deep content to a game was the Artorias DLC for Dark Souls. It added 6-8 hours of new content, it revitalized the whole game.
I feel like DLC should add SOMETHING to the game. . .whether expanding it or giving you some new tools to explore/experience the game with.
I mean, they can keep all that customization crap, but it can’t ALL be that. Give us something useful too. Hell, even new weapons restricted to single player campaigns would be enough.
Last DLC I bought was the top tier trio in KOFXIII, unless you count the VF5FS complete package deal on PSN they had up.
I pretty much straight up avoid DLC, unless it’s free (Shoutouts to TTT2). Since I only play fighters on my PS3, I rarely have to deal with DLC, unless it’s a character I really need.

It also added dark magic, so, y’know. The rest of it was pretty great though, even if Ciaran and Gough should’ve had the option to be a real fight.
Im all about dlc. A) because it’s optional. B) it comes in different flavors. In allot of cases I just want a little more of a game than a whole sequel. Recent dlc I’ve enjoyed. Mass effect, Halo, sleeping dogs, tomb raider. Looking forward to Naruto and injustice dlc

Looks like they have one of the shooting suspects in custody.
Bombers seem to be two brothers from Chechnya in U.S. as legal residents.
I ask you this:
Will the American people and media be able to understand that Chechnya is not the Middle East?

I think maybe they couldn’t find it on a map, but that they realize what Chechnya is in terms of its general location.
I’m sure they will try to find Al Qaeda links to the place, though.
Considering Chechnya is predominantly a Muslim territory.
. . .and most of those Muslims are Sunni. . .
. . .and that Al-Qaeda is a Sunni Muslim terrorist organization. . .
. . .well. . . . . .
sigh.
