The thing is, this isn’t theory fighting, what Slave and I have said. It’s actual experience. I’m not saying, “If you do this, I do this,” in terms of if it were to happen. I’m saying it in terms of it does happen, and the result is as I said.
So it’s agreed that top tier is Roberto, Roy, and Kurow. Debatable being Wild Daigo, Daigo, Momo, Hyo, Kyosuke, and Yurika?
As said, I support W. Daigo and Daigo being top tier. As for the thought of Kyosuke and Hyo, no. I haven’t gotten enough information on Momo yet. I’m just told, “I’d have to see…” This could have been easily said for W. Daigo/Daigo, but examples and points were given to support the arguement. The same for Yurika, being that I don’t have enough information on her to really decide.
You people should really host a tournament just to see how you people play.
I tried, not many people play, and those who will, won’t enter a tourney if either of us are in it 
I’ll borrow a friend’s digital camcorder when Slave comes back to the states in December. We’ll need a few days to get our gameplay back up to par, but it’ll all be gravy afterwards 
I’ve also never seen the Persona combo vids. From what I’ve heard, they’re all Gan-only combos. Is this true? Whenever I try to download, it zaps out

I disagree with Boman’s ranking, but I don’t play him enough to support my idea. I don’t think Incho or Zaki suck at all. This is the type of game in which everyone can be useful. I’ve gotten back into the game recently, but too many people are hooked on MVC2 to really give a shit about playing me so I have yet to face some actual competition. I’ll try and post some combos for Roy, Yurika, Shoma, and Natsu at a later time.

Check the Combo Compilation thread that’s already been created. I’ll be updating it with Zaki, Yurika, and B. Batsu combos Saturday night
Shoma and Hideo are far from top tier. They can’t deal anywhere close to the damage capable of being dealt by Roberto, W. Daigo/Daigo, etc. Hideo’s got some decent specials (nice priority on his uppercut, but useless when someone’s blocking on jump in). Shoma however just has no variety really. He can’t link into his big home run super, which is the only one that can do decent damage. The wind up is huge, so it’s not like you can bait someone into taking it in the jaw. His command grab is wicked slow, though has awesome range. He’s mid tier at best. Hideo I think might have an edge on Shoma, but I’ll find out when I sit down to do his section in the combo thread and examine his normals.
Slave: Steve plays Hinata/Hyo/Akira. He’d play Hyo on our team he says. PJ plays W. Daigo/D. Hyo/Tiffany (he said some chick character, I’m assuming Tiffany cause she’s got b00bs). Not sure on Duffey. He said he’d start playing again though.

PJ plays a watered down version of my team, unless his D. Hyo is better. I play Edge for my speed char, he plays some chick. His W. Diago can’t touch mine, so it’d have to be his D. Hyo if he wanted to compete

That probably only works on Gan. It definitely won’t work on Momo, and it doesn’t work on Kyosuke.

Icege nope. The infinite works on alot of people(I don’t yet know if it works with Momo). But I seen alot of Roy matches able to pull that off on alot of characters.
