Just when I was starting to feel hopeful about the shows they’re showing kids nowadays.
I don’t see why a reboot was necessary, they should have just fleshed out the story they built up on. I feel it had another 2-3 seasons left. I guess they’re looking to cash in on the movies potential success.
Wow such bs. I watched the first season of SS two years ago (cant remember very much now) but I came to the realization that this was the best Spidey toon ever. And this is comin’ from a dude who praised and put Spidey TAS on a pedestal for many years. Spidey TAS just doesn’t hold up nowadays with its lazy ass animation and censorship. It still has great shit, but SS was so great all-round. I gotta rewatch it again and catch up on what I missed.
I’m really sad that both Spectacular Spiderman AND Wolverne and the X-Men are done. Both were really good shows. Now if you’ll excuse me I’m going to go cry in the corner…

The show also has Brian Michael Bendis (writer of all 145 issues and counting of both iterations of the Ultimate Spider-Man comic book) as a writer and producer, plus the ?Man of Action? team of Joe Kelly, Joe Casey, Steven Seagle and Duncan Rouleau on board as writers and executive producers.

i’ve always had a problem with this. Every time they do an X-Men or Spidey or whatever cartoon, they get a little ways into it, then cancel it for ANOTHER version of the same fucking show. Seriously, can they just stick with ONE of the shows, and not replace it with a different one every two years???
And the Fox spidey was getting good, with the Dormammu setup before getting cancelled. Too bad they wussed out on Morbius

No. Spectacular was really fucking good, and with all these people involved I expect Ultimate will be at least that good. I’m looking forward to it.
