You say you read comics yet you don’t even know how superspeed is portrayed…we have a clear on-panel illustration of him moving at superspeed(notice the after images in relation to his opponents) where he is literally blitzing all over. Moving and fighting at SUPERSPEED…I mean if the afterimages and blurred lines aren’t enough of a hint I don’t know what is. Does the fact that his bio even state superspeed not enough evidence either…I mean seriously dude it isn’t debatable, I don’t even know why you’re arguing to be perfectly honest. A feat displayed on-panel by the publisher is not refutable…accept it and move on.
You know, by that logic, that means all those lines in that pic with the henchman shooting at him had all the henchman talking at superspeed too cause otherwise the panel wouldn’t make sense.
Or, they were just trying to save space and show off Spidey’s agility.
I just realized last week that the voice of Tinkerer is the same guy who voiced Lexington on Gargoyles! Both characters like to invent things. That’s ironic to me.
Also, I think it’s becoming more apparent to the viewer that Liz isn’t the girl for Peter. Oh, sure I like her and all, but she needs to sort out her feelings for Flash. And did anyone catch the cameo of you-know-who in Ravencroft? Was so not expecting that.
From the way she looked at Peter after he got back from “missing all the action,” I think she may be suspicious. I mean, in the comics she figured it out before anyone else did, outside of Norman.
And dang, Gwen worrying about Peter, while natural, made me think of how she worried about him in the comics. She was constantly crying because she didn’t know where he was. I still love Spec Gwen so as long as she doesn’t gain the emotional strength of wet toilet paper, she’ll still be one of my faves.
I think Doc Ock was putting on an act for Dr. Kafka and the rest of the staff at Ravencroft.
Cletus’s name getting dropped in the latest episode was funny. Also, I prefer this Gwen to the Ultimate Spidey Gwen. Hell, I’ll probably take her over 616 Gwen also.
Anyone else think Kraven’s mutation in ep 2 of season 2 was sorta outta left field? I mean, I still dig him in the series, but that’s a big change. But as it was already mentioned, he’s not a pyscho so it’s all good.
And I’m betting Ock was calling all the shots while he was at Raven Croft.
