RIP Nohoho

Rip brother

Damn! Been gone from SRK for a week or two I come back to this?

RIP to a great SF player. I believe he even gave me kudos/mentioned me on his site…

Rest in Peace my friend.

He was a friend… RIP…

(Hmmm…I’ll admit that I’ve unfortunately never heard of this player.)

Regardless, I figure that I can sticky/“announce” this unfortunate news if nothing else. I’ve been meaning to take down the news of YusukeUrameshi/Yusuke_The_Detective’s unfortunate death for a while now anyway.

Wait wtf, How did he pass? RIP to Nohoho and prayers for his family.

Yeah I want to know this too but no one has answered exactly how or why he passed :frowning:
So we sort of just sit here going “was it a car accident” or did he have a preexisting medical condition? :frowning:
It would really nice to know so we have closure, because you know if someone died in a car accident or worse or something violent, keeping that secret doesn’t really do him or anyone else justice…

Someone said he was found dead in his apartment, and unknow cause of death.

(“Someone”?)

Has anyone been able to actually confirm, objectively and from more than one reliable source, that he’s dead? It’s a somewhat cold thing to ask, but given that no one seems to know what’s going on and how easy it is to fool people over the Internet it is unfortunately a legitimate question.

Granted, his family could be keeping it private and it takes a while for information to come out even if they aren’t usually, but typically there would also be at least something more to go on then “someone said” and an unknown cause of death.

RIP Nohoho. Great blog that I used to read religiously. ST was by far my main game back when I played video games often.

What? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

That guy was beast.

RIP Nohoho.

RIP

RIP homie.

RIP

Very very sad to hear. Just as a footnote about Nohoho, while he’s known for ST greatness, he was also one of the main people giving SFIV information from Japan. Before SFIV had a console release he actually had a very cool web page that had different tournament winnings in Japan. This guy put in a lot of work, very big loss for the community.

Thank you for everything, nohoho. Your efforts undoubtedly helped broaden the FGC.

Damdai confirmed and they were pretty tight.

(Ah. Okay.)

Damdai is a rather trustworthy source. That is indeed unfortunate then.

RIP, it’s sad to see such a dedicated person pass on.

RIP bro
