Even though he had a rep as a druggie, he claims that he never touched or used heroine. He talks about it in this short clip, which I thought was pretty interesting.
Mostly knew Motorhead through WWE and Triple H. The songs I did hear from them I enjoyed. Triple H’s entrance wouldn’t be nearly as memorable without his groups sound and lyrics.

Man and i saw them live just a few months ago and he seemed fine outside of being totally hammered… But lemmy wasnt lemmy unless he was top 5 drunk at all times. Rip! I will never forget that show granted the venue was a bit ass 
I’d say rest in peace you ugly bastard, but peace and quiet is the last thing Lemmy’d want. So rock the fuck on you absolute legend.
He didn’t touch heroin. He loved him some LSD and weed though. I consider myself a druggie, but I’d never touch crack or heroin.
Besides, Lemmy was all about the drinking.
I feel sorry for everyone who never got a chance to see him. Saw the show in Vegas this September it being the 40th anniversary tour and all, and it was a hell of a show, but boy was Lemmy in bad shape. You could tell the man just wasn’t right. Really sucks to see him go and in such a sudden fashion.
