Sup guys, new to the MD scene. I used to live Rockville but had no idea that there was a fighting game scene.
Having a gathering at my place on August 1st. X30 is dead, I think, for now. But someone posted something recently about a new place to play. Have to see how it works out.
And DAMMIT! I was lazy with signing up for the Scion tournament and now it’s closed. 
I may show anyway, just to chill. Or maybe they will have tickets at the door as well? One can only hope.
I was kind of hoping the same thing. Really want to get in on this action.
EDIT: I went ahead and called them and they will be selling tickets at the door for 15 bucks or you can order a ticket online for 11.

Alright, since it’s less than a week away, need to hash out some details regarding the BBQ. What time is good for you guys? I’m think earlier in the afternoon, since we are going to be eating and drinking. Also, feel free to bring whatever systems and games you want too. As we found out last time, my second TV does NOT do HD, so may bring a monitor if you got one. Also, I have SF4, will have MvC2, possibly KoFXII, Garou, KoF 98UM. No BB, it got broke (long story :().
So let me know what you guys think. Also, would like to get a least somewhat of a list together of who may be attending, so I know how much food to get.
Oooo KOF12 I wanna try it. Too bad it looks like it won’t become anything since even people who like KOF say the game is shit, meh.

really appreciate the house offering raven, if i drive down there, i will bring my xbox and my games ( bb,sf4,mvc2 and so on.) if i have to take the metro then i will unfortunately be unable to bring anything, cuz it’ll take like 2hrs to get there already and the metro scares me >_>. lol ill try and donate something tho cuz Thats WHAT I DO!.

Ill bring in a ps2, to use with that tv that didnt like the 360/PS3

Quick question. Does anyone that is coming to the BBQ happen to have a PS2? And if so, does anyone have a stick for it? I’m tempted to go buy CvS2 for the PS2 (as long as Gamestop didn’t lie to me and they actually have it tomorrow), but I don’t own a PS2 or a PS2 compatible stick. So just thought I would ask before I plop down the cash.
i have a ps2 and mvc2, capcom fighting evolution, 3rd strike, and cvs2 for it. no ps2 stick tho srry? Im sure a bunch of people here do tho, so i can bring that and someone can bring the sticks?
Also, i reall ylike cvs2, but im really bad. i want to learn some good sakura, maybe bison, and most likely chun. Are there any top cvs2 players who use sakura or chun? i wanna see some matches with someone using those chars.
