40 bucks for extra security is worth it imo for a monitor.
Not scratched/used, warranty for dead pixels, and I love boxes. 179 shipped is still a great deal.
Lane it worked for me. I’m using regular XBCD drivers(not XBCD+). people have reported using xbcd+ drivers works well. anyways this is the one im using http://redcl0ud.1.forumer.com/index…opic=1816&st=0
although in order for it to work, i had to disable direct input -.-;
if the analog isnt working you can remap it. although mad catz stick already allows you to do that.

Yeah I’m just going to pray that I made it out on the better end of the open box stick and don’t get any dead pixels. I’ve had 2 LCD monitors for at least 3 years and neither of them have ever had dead pixels. It’s a high quality monitor too for the price. I would assume seeing this monitor is basically higher quality than the 2 I have at the house that dead pixels or magnetism or anything else that could go wrong with an LCD screen would not occur.
I just hope it comes with a power cable. That would be the only thing that would right off the bat screw up the savings I made on the screen. Especially considering power cables aren’t sold retail. You have to find someone on Ebay or Amazon or call the company directly.
Oh and yeah I would still buy it at 179 in a heart beat with the 1 year warranty. It’s just if you’re on a budget and wanted to risk it 157 (139 plus shipping) dollars is good savings over the original price at 200. Especially if all I’m going to do is play SFIV on it at most every other day. At home I can always just play on a CRT to get practice under lag free conditions but I might as well practice on the same monitor that will be used at Evo when I’m not playing other people.

I finally got my 360 TE stick working on my laptop today. My PS3 SE, all you have to do is install sixaxis driver and it shows up everywhere, from mame to Melty blood.

Yeah I was gonna check it out some today. Don’t got time to watch other people play video games all day on Father’s Day. I’ve watched enough of people compete in person in the US any ways. Just going to be watching them all again at Evo. :lol: DjWheat does some nice commentary though. I already knew that from watching his CGS DirecTV commentary. Plus nothing special is really happening. Other top players doing well and J.Wong raping those other top players in every game possible as usual so far. Oh wait there’s also people whiffing sweeps repeatedly with Iori in KOFXII. If it wasn’t for the commentary and interviews with the top players I probably wouldn’t be watching it at all. Well if I could just get a notification when ComboFiend is playing or when J.Wong loses that’d be great. I’ll hit the stream up quick for either one.
The only results that’ll be interesting are the ones that J.Wong won’t take for free like HD Remix. John Choi’s gonna tap that ass. Actually that’s like the only game he won’t take for free. I really hope Wong does well at SBO. Represent dat east coast.
Combo played early yesterday and got knocked to the losers bracket by Ed Ma.
So far in the losers bracket we’ve got Mike Ross, ComboFiend, Gootecks, etc. Apparently the brackets were fucked up.
My money is on Ed though…
If Wong is in there I got my money on Wong just to represent the East Coast. Ma is sick though and he could definitely take it. Ed Ma still sux though cuz he gave up Viper. :lol: That’s the only reason he beat Fiend…he used to use her and knows her inner trickies.

Who did Ricky play as before? I didn’t even know he was playing. If he takes this game seriously he’s going to be another J.Wong basically. Dude is sick. Maybe not quite as consistent in his execution as Wong but he’s just as solid otherwise I think.
Oh and I liked Gootecks comment about “homie battles”. The brackets were seeded by region so people ended up playing their friends way to early.
I went to the x30 yesterday and they did not have an xbox360 version of SF4. Wut up with that? I wanted to run into some folks playing SF4. I tried to play on the playstation pad and hated it. Next time I go I am bringing my copy.

Yeah at x30 for the 360 you have to bring the game and a HD. We usually play on the ps3 cause the damn rockband boys take the 360 before we’re there. BUT! if we somehow get the 360 we gotta have the game and the HD
