so what is the deal at this place, you all just bring your own games and joysticks there?
i MAY come tonight but i doubt it. if i do it’ll be around like 7:30 or so but i am not sure.
if not this week i want to do it next week for sure. i’m trying to meet up w/some people who are good at sf4 to do some offline matches. i’ve only played against people online 
They have 2 big TVs, a couple 360s and PS3s and a pretty good selection of games for each. They don’t have SF4 for 360, so someone always brings it along with their hard drive for unlocks. If you want to play on a stick, you have to bring your own (there are always a couple spares people bring), but they have pads by the dozen if you’re fine with that.
i’ll be there at 4-4:30. I’ll try to nab the 360 setup so we can have both lol
You can but it’s not required. Sometimes I just bring my hard drive so that we can have all the costumes (I need my RED VIPER!!!) and put on some music that isn’t the regular SFIV music.
To further answer Purbeast’s question…unless it’s on a day where no one’s there you don’t HAVE to bring a stick. As in if a lot of people are coming you’ll more than likely have a stick to play on. It’s not Evo so no one’s going to give you a big deal about using their stick during a casual match rotation. Unless one of you guys is really mean and I just don’t know yet. Sometimes when a lot of people are there I prefer to use someone else’s stick especially when playing the 360 version. My custom dual mod stick died about a month ago and my only other custom stick works for PS3 only. I can’t use anything for Viper but Japanese arcade grade parts. At least if I want to do things with near 100 percent consistency.
Oh and hopefully you nab the 360 setup. Those Guitar Hero and FPS kids gun for that TV with the quickness. Like they can’t just play that stuff at home. :lol:
I’m normally pretty nice about loaning out my stuff, but some kid up at school destroyed my Rock Band drums due to HARDxCORE HEADBANGING so I’ve been careful lately, rofl.
Yeah that electronic drum set looks kinda cheap any ways. Someone trying to death metal the percussion will probably bang it up at the expense of your wallet. Not like we have any Marvel players there regularly to bang up on our sensitive Japanese sticks. :lol:
