Ep was good, but I hope the show doesn’t fall down the same hole that got Community in seasons 5 and 6. The show focused more on being meta than being funny, and suffered as a result.
The whole president vs rick fight was a dick waving contest

im pretty sure this episode was a reset so it wouldnt fall into that trap. its so easy for them to just jump worlds and start over…but this episode kinda implies they wanna not do things all the same. the roles are growing and they arent being trapped by their own tropes. hence 1.jerry is upgraded in status. 2.beth wont be a raging cunt 3.morty is obviously becoming more of a partner than a bitch to rick. and has grown in confidence by leaps and bounds. 4.they aignt jumping worlds anymore is kinda the implication. no starting over anymore. as long as they keep going with continual growth in characters and status…it wont fall into the same trappings.
I wonder if the cancer side effect of the shrinking pill will come back to haunt the Prez?
Seeing as Morty seems more sure of himself in the finale, I get the feeling he might end up being the one who can competently face “Evil” Morty on a fundamental level. I get the feeling that “Evil” Morty knows Rick all too well, and even though Rick is the smartest being in the universe, he can’t contend with a Morty that thinks like him but isn’t him and has different motives. “Evil” Morty has probably been planning his grand scheme for a long time and created many contingencies for the “Rickest Rick” when the time comes.
wtf that finale was so mediocre. would have been way more satisfying if they ended with the evil morty episode that they stuck in the middle of the season for some reason

I also don’t get how Rick just willingly becomes the new family bitch so easily, although that blank expression he had when Beth joked about being a clone leaves things a little open. I would like to think Real “psychotic” Beth is out there finding herself… or laying waste to civilizations, just like Daddy.
Off tangent, waaaay back to the Vindicators episode, I was REALLY hoping that Noob Noob purposely got Rick drunk and did a little worm tongue routine to get him to take out the Vindicators. And he takes out that Nebula chick with one of those anti-anti-matter guns.
Hope we see more of Fly Fishing Rick. lol
I hope Rick and the Prez make up. Maybe that impending cancer thing will bring them back together.
